As I've said since pretty much the start he's got to start making real demands of those above him. I give him some pass for the lineups because he really has been dealt an appalling hand but he's got to demand a better one and if he doesn't he won't be of any use. It's a shame because he seems a sound bloke.

It just amazes you how bad he is. I've managed to reduce my expectations of this £25mil signing to being a steady 6/10 Championship player and he falls miles short of even that. He wouldn't start for Oxford.

Looks a very open league on the early evidence. Most of the favourites look rubbish.

I was more talking about in England in general though really and should have specified. Foreign football is more volatile in general with this sort of thing - take Ukraine where it felt like whoever finished 3rd was defunct within 3 years. In England I struggle to think of things that are really comparable. Bury, Morecambe etc... are worse situations and I suppose to go to literally not existing is technically a bigger decline. But to go from such a position of strength to such a position of weakness, this quickly, all under the same owner is astounding. I remember nothing really quite like it. I can't even do an XI. It is basically impossible to do one that's got players in it who should be allowed to wear our shirt now that El Khannouss has gone. Defence should be Aluko, Okoli, Nelson and Justin - at left back. Faes in midfield, simply isn't a centre half, he can't do any worse than the other midfielders. Page has to start. Monga has to start. It won't be though. No doubt we have to endure Soumare, Vestergaard, Winks etc.

Another week of zero activity, zero response to the shambles of last week. It's an utter utter disgrace. The same useless pricks will trot the same useless crap out as usual and we'll lose. Probably going to butcher the explanation here but I feel like tactics are almost a luxury you get after the absolute obvious fundamental basics and the problem is we don't have even those so basically no tactic can work with us.

I genuinely don't know how it's possible to get it wrong as often as he does. Like even based on pure instinct and lucky guess you surely occasionally get it right. He actually does need to be kept around - he could guide us to all sorts of success just by simply proposing the wrong thing at every turn. If we keep opposing it can you imagine how good things will get?
