  1. If we truly didn't care we'd not be on here. I would suggest most of us are holding out some hope that things can turn for the better again one day. Despite how negative I feel I do think it'll get better one day. I don't see the route to how, or when, but it can't stay like this forever.
  2. Think this is what is letting us off the hook - teams knowing they can take a breather. Brentford for example we benefitted from them having a midweek game afterwards so they conserved energy and only won 0-4 when they could quite easily have racked up 7/8. Last night another - bit of a piss take from Man City really, but again you assume they are just conserving energy for a derby at the weekend. Forest will have no mercy against us. They've shown they've got it in their locker. I'd be quietly relieved if that one was 2/3-0. Bournemouth have fallen apart lately but they also have shown they have it in them. Get things back together somewhat and they could stick 5 on us without really breaking sweat. Possibly 7/8.
  3. Just occurred that RVN has basically screwed Manchester United over. Manchester City at the weekend, and they have essentially had a week off where United had to play.
  4. I do wonder if it will come out in future that the club was being sabotaged on purpose. Can't explain why they would do it, but I don't really know how you can serve up this level of incompetence otherwise.
  5. Cooper was rubbish but he was comfortably better than this. He's the only one, bizarrely, who has come out of this looking quite good.
  6. What's mad to me is how obvious it is to anyone who takes a quite casual view. What's useful in football is there's a very obvious measure of your success so it really isn't hard to identify when things need to be changed. You could've put the last relegation down to a freak (I wouldn't personally) but this now is definitive proof that things need to change. I can't remember a squander quite like this one to be honest.
  7. I don't think it quite comes to double relegation but decline is all we know. I tend to make pessimistic predictions about us that turn out to actually be optimistic when measured against what plays out. So if I feel we'll be about midtable, maybe it can actually be significantly worse. We're relying on luck to get us out of this. Just like we did with Maresca. No skill involved in that whatsoever.
  8. Lost 6 of our last 12 in the Championship last season. We got worked out, just too late for it to stop us going up. I doubt we get as lucky next time. It's a bad league but as ever our eye will be off the ball partly due to the delusion bred by winning a league we had an enormous advantage over last time. They'll cut corners and blow it next time. We've underachieved virtually every year under Aiyawatt.
  9. Avoids my birthday, thank god for that.
  10. Jokingly said I was going to watch Liverpool v Everton yesterday when I saw our team. Two minutes in I actually did just turn it off, stuck Southampton v Palace on for 13 minutes out of intrigue to see if there really is a side worse than us (there isn't), on went Liverpool v Everton. Not seen another thing from our game. I didn't think it would get to a point where I'm not just not going to games, but am actively not watching them either. It's partly an age thing but it's primarily due to the disgusting sabotage of the club.
  11. The big problem here is that Aiyawatt wants to take all of the glory, be the centre of attention and hand out awards without having any reason to do it. He wants to do the rewards first, rather than the success. That's why he made such a big deal out of the procession promotion last season. It was a perfect chance to justify his ridiculous position. They got attached to being the heroes of the show after 2016 and you've now got a situation where everyone who plays for us gets treated like they achieved something. It's like a private company having a special workforce make a few million a few years back but those have all now moved on and those today are still reaping the rewards. They've all got ferraris as company cars with nothing done to achieve it. Combine this with their generally lazy, corner cutting approach and a fanbase who for the most part holds them to very little accounts. It's a seriously damaging situation where only decline can possibly occur. How far down we go, it's really hard to say.
  12. yet Ipswich v Wolves dodged TV? What on earth is going on?
  13. Pass on a message to Rudkin that he's a twat please.
  14. Hand on my heart, I don't think I could do worse. It's just not for him. Terrible reflection on the state of Dutch football that he won a trophy over there. Steer well clear of there for the next few years.
  15. An absolute joke that this non contest is on TV. But then again this is the same company who've replaced experts with youtubers so it's no surprise. 0-3 obviously.
  16. Embarrassed to admit I fell for the early few performances.
  17. When the owner goes. What it will take for him to go, I'm unsure. I cannot stress how bad he is. He's another level down from Mike Ashley. He was awful and a terrible fit for Newcastle, but he didn't have them in a terrible state, just an overly pragmatic one. We are in terminal decline on and off the pitch. This combined with the fact he seems to have unlimited credit in the bank with large sections of our fanbase is a potentially deadly combination. If somebody had come in when Aiyawatt came in and done what Aiyawatt had done, I think the majority of the fanbase would be mobilised against the way we're being run into the ground. But for totally emotional and frankly delusional reasons, the manchild gets a free pass to nail us as far down as he pleases. We really do need to luck out here.
  18. This supposedly happened in the summer of 2022 and the recommendation was for an overhaul at board level before things got out of hand. Aiyawatt did nothing.
  19. They're enablers as far as I'm concerned. All to score a few points online.
  20. Will be extremely tame as usual I fear.
  21. Looks very unlikely to be Forest now - thankfully. If Wolves beat Ipswich it's probably going to be against Liverpool. If they don't it'll be at Molineux.
  22. Exactly this. We cannot be seen to be tolerating this performance. The damage in pride is far more important than the money it will cost to get rid. Don't kill a managers career before its even started. Leave this to caretakers. Get Van Nistelrooy the **** away from here. Get rid of virtually everyone at board level. Get rid of 90% of the players. Deport the owner.
  23. It isn't hyperbole to say he might be the worst manager in Premier League history.
  24. Pisses me off that Man City didn't try either. Some sort of mercy "respect" bullshit. Give these oxygen thieves the 7-0 they deserve.
  25. The worst manager in Premier League history. He's genuinely worse than someone like De Boer or Martin for me.
