  1. Didn't he score against the ever obliging Leicester City ? Says it all
  2. Mine are still being fed this morning so I'm not expecting them to fledge today. The box is 10 foot up an oak tree and I'm hoping the chick's will be able to flutter to one of the lower branches rather than just crash land on the lawn where a cat could be waiting. When that happened in the past, I've been out there picking them up and helping them into a tree for cover. Not the sort of thing that would happen in nature but then again neither is having human introduced predators prowling.
  3. Must be getting close to a vote of confidence.
  4. I suppose that they will have been succesful if only two fledge to maturity as it sustains the population. Any more is a bonus.
  5. This is being discussed at length in the transfer forum.
  6. I spent sometime this afternoon chasing off a neighbours killer moggie that was stalking our Blue Tit's. Hoping the chick's fledge soon as it's getting stressful being on watch (hopefully tomorrow as I'll be at the Jamie Vardy leaving party all day on Sunday). A quick Google search confirmed that nothing much can be done about this menace, legally anyway, not that I would ever physically harm any animal. But interestingly noted the Cats Protection League website states that cats have the right to roam. Not true but there is no law that prevents them from doing so (unlike dogs) as a cat is the property of its owner and must not therefore be damaged. Amounts to the same outcome, I suppose.
  7. Isn't this what Seagrave was built for?
  8. Probably better that Chelsea sign him as they'll pay over the odds. Unlike a club such as Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, NottsF etc. If Chelsea don't make UCL then Enzo will be gone anyway.
  9. There does seem to be fewer Blackbirds around than normal this year https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj3x6v05ly6o
  10. Is it a Yorkshire thing? God's own and all that. I was taken aback by their obsession with all things Yorkshire during the Richard III discovery and how much they wanted to believe in untruths. It upset a few when I explained the War of the Roses wasn't a conflict between Yorkshire and Lancashire and the white/red roses are no more than modern sporting emblems. Many do seem to believe that tea is grown on the fertile land of the Dale's. If it ain't Yorkshire, it's shite.
  11. The all time Premier League table gives the best indication of success in the modern era... https://www.football365.com/premier-league/table/all-time-premier-league-table
  12. Might regret that choice if he doesn't get his goal on Sunday.
  13. The official attendance was 20,000. Looked far more on the TV. I wasn't able to go being in the vulnerable category. Will always be a regret but at least I'm still alive. Went to the UCL decider the week after. What a miserable day that was other than the trophy parade. Closest that I've ever been to the FA Cup.
  14. ANNOUNCE THE JAMIE VARDY STAND!!
  15. Other than about £2m in prize money. Ipswich won't be giving that up easily.

  17. If cat owners are unable or unwilling to keep their animal within the confines of their own property then perhaps they should consider whether they are suitable pets. It's not ok to allow dogs or any other pets to roam freely. Legislation is unlikely as it's not a vote winner but it needs to become socially unacceptable. The collar and bell is an RSPB advisory as is keeping the cat indoors during dawn and dusk when birds are most vulnerable.
  18. Domestic killer moggies really are a bleeding nuisance. Owners should be given an ASBO
  19. Sounds like a South London accent?

  21. He wouldn't have scored had the flag gone up. The players would've stopped by the time it was crossed.
  22. Gives s bit more information about the injury. Sounds very nasty Awoniyi in induced coma after surgery - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cn0g8qyjywjo
  23. Southampton are way behind given how they played against us recently. Ipswich are on same points as us. Perhaps all those Championship players they signed will come good. Feels like they've lost their momentum.
  24. It is utterly bizarre. Wolves are seen as a big historical club as they were the first to install floodlights.
  25. Just have to take it on the chin...
