Google just confirmed to me that it’s not actually confirmed at all. There’s lots of “might” or “could” raise prices though.

It’s probably not very cool but I think this man is a musical genius.

Shouldn’t make any difference as long as the rest of the system is correctly pressurised (as in not drained down)

Agree with all of this but I found most trains to be on time and regular so if one was delayed or cancelled another came along quite soon afterwards. The stations and most of the outside of the carriages were covered in graffiti which made the area appear worse than it was. Good value compared to our rubbish.

Stop making things up!! Your use of the word ergo doesn't make it a fact... Where does it say in those stats that Women are using termination as a form of birth control? You've obviously never been around anyone who has had an abortion. It's not something anyone chooses to do without good reason and causes many long and short term issues, both physical and mental.
-
That’s blatantly not true, Elective and unspecified reasons: 95.9% is the reason given, not quite the same as “unwanted pregnancy” Any woman should have the right to choose what happens to her body for whatever reason she chooses, as long as it’s within health guidelines. Very often it’s things like poverty, lack of housing or a decent support network which cause women to seek abortions. Most often, the reasons given against abortion are based around religious teachings.
-
Not complex at all, it is a health issue not something to be regulated by religous zealots.

From what I could see he was also a racist inciting violence, I wouldn’t call that being a silly old man. For reference, wasn’t there a JSO organiser jailed for 5 years a while back? I didn’t see many people upset about that.

Not a holiday as such but my youngest Daughter has flown out to North Carolina this morning for 3 weeks working but will have a some time at weekends to kill. She’s flown to Raleigh but working at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville. Anything to do fairly locally?

Because it’s woke.

Our posts crossed, sorry (and you are far more concise and eloquent than me 😂) As for bears and wolves, there’s been several reintroduction/protection schemes in Europe which are deemed successful and although we currently don’t have the habitat, we could have in the future! Modern farming practices and so called guardians of the countryside have a lot to answer for. There are millions of acres of land to be returned to a native state if animal husbandry were to diminish.

I think plant based diet is the general idea as the by products of animals would cease and be replaced entirely by other products (simplified version) eventually . It wouldn’t happen overnight and as people ate less meat/dairy then less breeding of livestock would occur and so on. If some of the land was then used for rewilding and natural predators reintroduced then we might find some natural balance. Honey bees would easily recolonise rewilded areas, as long as we stop using pesticides so readily (I’m looking at you, UK government) but don’t forget that the main pollinators are the other 249 species of bee plus wasps and flies etc. In 2023 there were approximately 130,000,000 chickens, 5,000,000 pigs and 10,000,000 cattle bred in the UK. By contrast, there are about 3000 wild boar, a native species!

If you concede that it’s the easiest thing to do, what, in your opinion, is the most effective thing an individual can do because I think that this is it. Most climate change issues are out of our hands and can only be solved by governments and multinationals as far as I’m concerned. Yes, we should all recycle, turn down the thermostat a degree or two and walk/cycle more often but as for anything else 🤷♂️

Last minute pen 😂

What a swerve 😂. Probably another thread for this
