Charl91 Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Can't people just enjoy the moment rather than having to do all this again? Just be happy we are winning. No apologies are needed nor 'I told you so's'. Just enjoy it. For once, I actually agree!
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 "These Pearsonites are proving to be a dangerous bunch" If you go back I'm sure lots of stuff was said by lots of people. The fact that you want to pick up on one line that I might have said (at the time), shows that you want to keep on having a go. You always have where I'm concerned, for some reason. Move on Horse. We're all in it together and should all just be dead chuffed that we have improved so much recently. I just hope we don't start to lose again and all the aggro comes back again. The forum is a nicer place to be at the moment.
AKCJ Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 I don't think we were wrong to want him gone. He was stubbornly and persistently making the same awful and bizarre decisions week in, week out. He has finally come up with a plan b which is working and he is acknowledging our best players. Plan B? We've played this 4-4-2 most of the season. Nige tried to shake things up with a 3-4-3 and it didn't work so he's reverted back to the formation that's been getting the best performances out of us. You can see why he wanted to change, we were playing half decent but not getting the results we warranted.
shailen Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Think no one is childish enough to say I told you so. I backed Pearson because for me the team was playing well since January. Change manager only if we do not look like a team that plays well. Clearly, we were playing well and competing with the best teams in the league. I would only make a managerial change if we never look like we were going to win a game. Villa, West Brom and Palace looked like that for a lot of the season. That is why if I was one of their fans, I would want a change. Us and Burnley have played well, and both have stuck with our manager. With the quality in our squad, I doubt whether another manager could have done better. Similarly with Burnley, I think they are overachieving by a long way, and if they stay up SD should get manager of the year.

You are having a go mate. You've always been a wind-up merchant. There's no need. Enjoy the moment and stop goading.
Monsell1976 Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Never letting Albrighton play? Repeating odd formations that don't work? Losing it with fans and players? Pearson was on the brink to the point of embarrassment. Fair play to him, he changed things up eventually and started playing to our strengths. He acknowledged the likes of Albrighton and let us go for it. Credit where credit is due.Putting Lawrence on at was it left back or right back, was bizarre. But agree Harry, a lot coming on now saying I told you so, after disappearing, and I'm sure there are posters against Pearson who have disappeared since we have been winning, but consistent posters that have critical, are still here now, and like you, and I have said it, credit where credits due. All we want is a manager who is getting us competing, and when Pearson looked at a loss to get a result, he was rightly been criticised, but in the same breath, the last 4 games, he deserves praise, for not being cautious and giving it a go

Put him on ignore col, if he has to go back through old threads, to pull out previous comments, he clearly has something against you.

If they had blue tinted glasses on and blind faith then they deserve the rewards we are reaping now and they should be even happier that they were right Now we've got our Leicester back I couldn't be happier!!! Fook em Col!!!!

I am enjoying the moment and I wasn't having a go, I was making sure you were self aware. Put him on ignore col, if he has to go back through old threads, to pull out previous comments, he clearly has something against you. If I went through threads I would have given you the full quote, it's just the one that sprang to mind, if it didn't it wouldn't be there.
elvis f kennedy Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 That's the trouble with this place too many young self indulgent posters who care more about who was right than the club itself.potential to be a good fan site but let down by half the posters.
Donut Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 I am going to say, while i still remain critical of aspects of Nige's management, the recent turnaround has been nothing short of miraculous, and he deserves a great deal of credit, along with the players, for being able to pull off such big wins when the chips are down. Top marks.

The Invincible Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Typical thread going over the top after a couple of games. Couple of decent results and Nigel is the Messiah, couple of bad ones and he has to go. Nobody is capable of a balanced view on him. Just before we get too carried away it's worth remembering if Nigel hadn't used such shockingly defensive tactics at Villa Park a few weeks ago we'd have just beaten Liverpool at Wembley today and be looking forward to an FA Cup final and Europe. But if you happy pulling one off over him for guiding us to 18th place in the league then feel free.

Hey you aren't allowed to say things like that on here .the teen happy clappers will be on you like a bunch of hungry piranhas.
