josh_baskin Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I was WRONG about Pearson, regardless of what happens now.
Jam Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 He showed some good tactical nous today, with the formation change and subs. Very impressed. Either way he is part of the team so I support them all together anyway. COYB!!!
Jakemoore Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I was WRONG about Pearson, regardless of what happens now.Fair play. I never stopped backing him but fair play for admitting that you did. I lost faith 2 seasons ago and I was wrong then...
cityfanlee23 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I was WRONG about Pearson, regardless of what happens now. sorry mate, beat you to it
blueharmie Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Wow just wow.. How good were we today. Absolute class. Vardy and cambiasso Jesus.
SecretPro Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I won't say I've been entirely wrong, he needed a kick up the arse, got one and I think he twigged on a few weeks ago. What I was wrong about was saying that Pearson doesn't learn. He looks now like he's finally learning. Can't fault him in the last three weeks - there have been times i've worried with certain subs (IE. wasn't keen today going 1 up front with 20 minutes left) but they have worked so I have absolutely no right to complain. As it stands, PEARSON IN.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Why anyone doubts him is beyond me, he's a solid, reliable presence and the sort of person you want at a club. He is constantly improving as a manager, too and he is improving our club from top to bottom!
josh_baskin Posted 18 April 2015 Author Posted 18 April 2015 Is it a coincidence that results have improved since Alrbighton has been in the starting line up?
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Fair play. I never stopped backing him but fair play for admitting that you did. I lost faith 2 seasons ago and I was wrong then... I am exactly the same.
Greg2607 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 It could also be that the players have needed time to adapt and don't forget that with our run in, we have played the more difficult teams already which makes us look worse than we are. We ARENT safe yet. Lose to Burnley and Chelsea and we undo all of our hard work. But at least we are in the mix and have momentum for now. Burnley will be well up for us next game.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Is it a coincidence that results have improved since Alrbighton has been in the starting line up? I don't think so. I was wrong about him - he'd been poor in his cameos but gave us a good injection v West Ham, strong vs West Brom and ripped Swansea open time and time again.
LCCFox96 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I hadn't lost faith in Pearson this season and never wanted him gone but found myself questioning a number of his decisions in numerous games this season. Performances like today make me wonder why I ever doubted the man. Lets hope we keep it up till the end of the season. Go on then Nige!
Sir Shep Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 It's come good at the right time that's for sure, but I'm with Weller, it's Rachel to thank :-)
Mike Oxlong Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 A few weeks ago it got to the position where one point wasn't enough and we just had to go for it. Since then we've started playing to our strengths and worried less about just containing the opposition. Possibly a case of needs must rather than the penny dropping but long may it last. COYB!!!!!
Riyad_Suarez Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Only ever lost faith in him once..... Anyone who was at Oakwell that day will now exactly why...
Mayofox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I didn't want to see NP go, but neither was I calling for him to stay. I've learned a lesson. And fair play to the owners for believing in him.
MooseBreath Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Not ashamed to say I thought we were dead and buried three weeks ago and that Pearson had had his chance and should go. Fair fooking play to all involved.
Kitchandro Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I was right about Pearson. If he'd have had the common sense to play like this all season we'd already be safe. About time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fuchsntf Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I am just going to Brag....I never, never, never doubted him.
