The goals I've seen him score have been put on a plate by his team mates, he doesn't assist that much and generally doesn't seem to do much... He's still young though and has plenty of potential. Nowhere near as good as people make out. Sterling is just a poor man's Franz Carr

The media talk about stupid price tags for him but he needs to do it consistently before he is viewed as a top forward. He has scored a lot of wonder goals this season though.

Who said that? Tottenham made the point he's the first since Lineker to score 20 goals that's all. If people refer to tap in's as "fluke goals" then it's wrong. That's what a striker does.
