Jimothy Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Be nice to see Arsenal win tonight and progress but cannot see it happening at all. Arsenal will probably win tonight, they love a glorious failure. They'll probably be 2-1 up and hit the post in the last minute. Ideally though I'd like Barca to tear them a new arsehole, and put a final nail in the coffin of Arsenal's season. I think a win tonight, even if they go out, will spur them on for the rest of the season.
ScouseFox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 same as arsenal, chelsea, to a slightly lesser extent liverpool and united, too. unless it's a final or a derby then it's just another game they should win 3-0 and they'll come back and give a shit in the final. shame. tbf it's even happened with our fans, we were like it in the championship and there's been a few games this year (villa away, norwich home) where as fans we've been pretty crap just groaning and sitting around waiting to beat these no-mark suckers. just life isn't it. if you go and expect something it's going to be more sedate than going expecting nothing and getting the world. if you went on a blind date expecting some muntbag and cameron diaz strolled in in a see through dress you'd be happier than if you were expecting rita ora and got a decent 7/10.
ScouseFox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 gwon juve. as ive said a few times and got absolutely slated for, neuer costs you more points than he wins you in a season. rather have kev pressman in goal.
AKCJ Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Love how people are ripping into Arsenal's starting 11 when in reality it's only really Iwobi who isn't a regular first teamer Just shows how shit they actually are. gwon juve. as ive said a few times and got absolutely slated for, neuer costs you more points than he wins you in a season. rather have kev pressman in goal. He's not even in my top 5 goalkeepers in the world. He had a good world cup and now people just assume he's playing well.
ScouseFox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 they could probably win the league with me in goal and considering how dominant they always are, he deffo concedes more goals by being a complete tit than he stops goals by being a good goalkeeper.

Flamini for Coquelin too. Also left Mertesacker out for Gabriel and obviously Ospina instead of Cech but that can't be helped.I think Wenger has made a mistake in his selection anyway. Giroud, whether they like it or not is their biggest goal threat, but he's gone for the pace and work rate of Welbeck. Welbeck is ok, but he's not the goal threat that Giroud is. He could have started Welbeck from the right and Giroud down the centre, would have stood more chance of scoring IMO.

You've summed it up by saying that their goal threat is Giroud. Has he even scored this side of Christmas? Their squad is ****ing awful, it has nothing to do with Wenger.

katieakita Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Be nice to see Arsenal win tonight and progress but cannot see it happening at all. Be careful what you say some on here might have to report you for suspected substance abuse, 100 years ago you would have been committed for even thinking such a thing
ScouseFox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 neuer almost costing them another goal. poor man's chris weale.
AKCJ Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Love seeing Guardiola lose purely because the media don't know how to react.
BoyJones Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Strange ploy from Wenger, playing without a right fullback. Comedy defending.
AKCJ Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 bayern should play alaba in goal for 2 reasons. 1) it's probably about the only place he's not played. 2) he'd be better than neuer
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 1-0 I thought Coquelin was injured? You've summed it up by saying that their goal threat is Giroud. Has he even scored this side of Christmas? Their squad is ****ing awful, it has nothing to do with Wenger. It has everything to do with Wenger... he is the one responsible for buying the players, and should be putting a team together that can challenge on all fronts . For me he is past it and his philosophy just no longer works.
MC Prussian Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Juve applying the Leicester City way... Defending tightly, then waiting for the sucker punch up front with a quick counter attack.
ScouseFox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 guardiola's taken these backwards. by a decent stretch, too. crikey if he takes man city this far backwards he'll have them relegated.
