ScouseFox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 sterling turning it on tonight amirite lads
StanSP Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Man City really good, Kiev really bad but their performance really emphasises that they haven't played in over 2 months.
foxes161 Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Great football from man city, played really well so far
Zear0 Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Personal highlight was zooming in on the guy who looked like Robbie Coltraine in Goldeneye. Surrounded by about eight guys in camo gear to boot.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Bet the school children relay races at half time there are much more acceptable to the athletics body.
theessexfox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Huge goal from Yaya, so much of the time he holds City back but then he can go and do that.
CosbehFox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 I'm saying I think we'd have given them more of a problem than Arsenal did and would be more likely to score..yes. As I said, Barcelona do not do as well against sides who play a pressing game. Statistically. Arsenal went about them all wrong last night. You only had to see how Bayern went all a bit jelly when Juve went direct and aerial yesterday that it can work. But you undoubtedly have make sure no mistakes by pressing well.
Dan Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Never saw that game but that's a very nice result which all but bags them a place in the quarters at long last. Get Wolfsburg and they might be onto something.
foxes161 Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Yaya made. Up for the missed header Finally English team going to be in quarters again
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35635477 "Sometimes, for the interest of football, why not give wildcards like in tennis?" he says. "Sometimes the top players don't qualify and are given wildcards. This can happen in football. "Sometimes clubs have a bad season and it is a big punishment to not play in the Champions League. "We need a stronger Champions League and more and more interest for the football fans and to make it more competitive." Urgh, fvck off and die. The closer we get to qualifying, the more this kind of shit is going to be suggested.
foxes161 Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Big club or not if you aren't good enough you shouldn't get in period.
Dan Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35635477 Urgh, fvck off and die. The closer we get to qualifying, the more this kind of shit is going to be suggested. I don't think they will ever actually go through with something like that as it's just too ridiculous, but our season really has exposed some of those who pollute this sport.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Dzeko has probably wrecked Roma's best chance of getting a result there. They aren't a bad side and scoring that would have given them a real impetus. Awful miss.
foxfanazer Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Is this Mcmanaman co-commentating? Awful to listen to!
StanSP Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Benfica through after beating Zenit in both legs. They've now won 16 of their last 17 games in all competitions.
MC Prussian Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 I like that Rabiot fella in PSG's midfield. Not just because of the goal, his positioning and passing are very good. And he's only 20 years old.
J.Lisemore Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Kenedy has a fairly simple job stopping Di Maria tonight, he will always cut inside because he's only got one foot.
Finnegan Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Macca and Owen are probably the worst pundits ever. I think Pleat is/was less annoying.
Finnegan Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Loving Hiddink doing his best Pearson impression, converting his young striker in to a left back.
StanSP Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Macca and Owen are probably the worst pundits ever. I think Pleat is/was less annoying. yeah Pleat actually had a knowledge of the game and it came out in his commentary. His downside was pronunciation of players' names which just pissed me off so much. Owen and McManaman are so much worse though.
