RedSoxUK Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 I've been talking to fans of other Prem teams, and fans from Europe, Bundesliga etc; they mostly expect Okazaki to be a guaranteed starter for Leicester - one even suggested he'll be a surprise 14/15 goal scorer this season. My question is, where does he play? who does he play with? How do we fit Okazaki in to get him scoring goals?

However I do think he will fill in mainly out wide.
RedSoxUK Posted 11 July 2015 Author Posted 11 July 2015 I can't be the only one who expects Vardy to be leaving I don't expect him to leave, but I expect Okazaki to challenge for a starting position. Wouldn't be surprised if Okazaki partners Ulloa in attack with Vardy on the bench as an impact sub.
GingerrrFox Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Basically our side is geared to playing 2 up top. You don't keep 4 strikers happy by keeping 3 on the bench. Whoever the new man is, he's got to work with what he's got and not impose a formation and system without the right pieces.

Whether this is true or not remains to be seen but a number of staff at the ground are talking about this as of today. The belief is that there has been a cover up in order to sell them rather than sack them to cash in but the owners want them gone! If so I think this will answer the question of how Okazaki fits in.

Yeah he was flown home but that was early in the trip and Vardy wasn't there at all so neither could have been or were involved in "the video". Nugent will be off anyway there's already clubs sniffing for him on loan, with the quality ahead of him he won't play much, if at all this season.
