Just received it, plugged it in, set the basics up, very simple.

Just watching the Man Utd v Dortmund match, it's abit grainy, not a fantastic picture, but better than a stream on my laptop, ultimately it's not gonna be HD quality is it! Or could you get that type of quality?!

It is what it is but if there are any ways of getting a better picture/quality it'd be grateful of advice/ways to do it.

Yes you can get HD quality but you have to pay for the privilege normally. What add on was you using to watch the Man.U match?

Fair enough, that is understandable.

Live Mix and from there MUTV.

You can usually get 720 pictures for premier league games, sometimes there's a bit of buffering but not always.

Ok cool so is it worth downloading any apps for a better stream/picture or are the preloaded sport ones as good as you'll get for free?

Sometimes it's perfect but you can't always rely on it. You'll definitely get a stream of some sort for the games but the quality isn't always the best. If you want guaranteed HD you probably need to pay.

Well worth paying imo for guaranteed top hd quality of every single game. The free ones aren't terrible but I just can't be bothered scrambling around all the time.

What's happened to stealth streams? Can't seem to find it online to re new anymore...

what alternatives are there? I don't mind paying up to £10 a month for a decent one!

Just read back a page, may have a look at hdtv. Do you have to pay for it?

Yes it's £17 a month for the full package or they do £50 for 3 months. Well worth it In my opinion, just like having the full sky package with loads more content including all the football streams in 1080p

The 10 month sport package for £100 quid is they way forward. You still get movies and catchup which has everything from  all the other channels anyway, obvs just not live.

So where did everyone watch the game yesterday?

The Sky sports links on Phoenix were not fantastic for quality. I ended up watching BEin with French Commentary. Hoping the yanks premier league links are up to the quality they gave us last year.

Signed up to HDTV for a year but the two games i've watched, the stream starts buffering about an hour in and sometimes just drops out all together.

I've asked them about it and they said to try a VPN.  Can anyone tell me

what that is and would it help?

Sometimes just by resetting your router helps. I watched it on HDTV yesterday and it was fine all the way through until about the 88th minute and it stuttered a bit, I just reset the router and worked fine again.

I watched the PSG match on Sunday morning and that was mint all the way through

Mine started buffering yesterday for some reason. Just swapped from sos 1 to sos 3 and it was fine after that.
