SlaneyLCFC Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 A more sensible move then to West Ham or Villa. Served us well for the year he was here.
STUHILL Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Don't see the point of going to Chelsea other than money and lifestyle. Doubt he will play many games at all, as Chelsea have an awesome squad. Shame, but like people said, better than if he went to West Ham or Villa. Maybe we can get a sneaky Loan bid in January when he realises he isn't getting any game time!
LCFC FOX Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 He'd obviously not play as much at Chelsea but mouriniho likes him and he'd get played. Another chance for him to win a trophy. I wouldn't lose any respect for him if he went Chelsea and I'd still applaud him next season
Foxymcoxy Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 He'd obviously get minutes. Mikel played 18 times in the prem last season and that was with no injuries to speak of.
davieG Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 He probably doesn't want to play as many games, maybe even can't. He may also prefer not to have everyone looking at him as the sole source of inspiration and leadership.
Fox92 Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 It's not all about playing is it. Mourinho might want Cambiasso's experience off the field too.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Don't think anyone can begrudge him a move to Chesea, except maybe Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Dan Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 As much as I dislike Chelsea I'd actually not be anywhere near as annoyed if he went there as I would if he signed for say West Ham or Villa. Chelsea's a proper step up with a manager he knows very well. Would be a massive kick in the teeth to Ranieri though.
AndyElZorro Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 I think if he goes to Chelsea it will be to work with Jose more so than actually playing. It's the next logical step for him if he wants to be a top draw manager. I wish him the best no matter what he does.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 It's all paper talk I still think he'll go to either Argentina or the MLS
Ozwin Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Fair play if he goes to Chelsea, it's a lot more digestible for us fans. Gets to add a PL to his list of honours.
st albans fox Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 One of my strangest predictions could happen then? Mentioned this a couple months back. esteban surely couldn't resist the chance of claiming another medal, potentially a league winner in a third country. I'm sure he wants to play every week but if the choice is that or a league winner, I can understand if he decides the latter. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in the states though.
