Any changes and what the new lads get etc Huth has been wearing 6 this pre-season, which I expect him to take. Chilwell was wearing 3, though if anyone's taking 3 I expect Schlupp or Fuchs would from Konch (Fuchs wore 23 for Schalke.) Okazaki also wore 23 for Mainz, was wearing 20 in games in pre-season. Kramaric was playing in number 19, but, could see him keep 40 with a 'cambiasso replacement' taking it if vacant. Fuchs trained in 6, but I think he was wearing 28 v Birmingham? 24, 22, 31, 37, 25, 21, 30, and 19 have been freed up from departures.

Pretty much every club releases them mid summer and you would think the club would want the money from the printing. Surprised at no home friendly as well. Just a strange pre season full stop really. With regards to the OP kramaric was wearing 19 yesterday but 22 in the other games, which he often wears for croatia, so think he might have 22. Ranieri likes Chilwell so might give him 3.

I think some clubs are only just announcing, but I remember it being a big deal to announce the numbers weeks prior to game 1 - I remember reading the Mercury finding out who the manager rated as the starting 11. I think Kram will get 22 and 19 will be spare for a Cambi replacement, and I think it will major if Chilwell is given number 3. To be playing in these pre-season friendlies, out of position too, he really has proven his value.

Announcing it late means two visits to the club shops hence a higher possibility of a second purchase. It's clever from a club who don't have a worldwide fanbase who can market a player in association with his number.
