Sorry to start a new thread, but has anyone had their sky bill increase yet (£10) for BT sport HD. Online it says the rise won't start till 20th sept but mine has already increased?

I have BT infinity and they've started to add £5 extra to my bill for the BT Sport pack, they charge you automatically for this and you have to opt out to avoid it... cheeky

Strange because  I've  had numerous  annoying emails and texts from them saying if I want the sports package I have to agree  to pay an extra £5 or I'll  be on their lite package which is just BT Sports  1

Not sure whats happened there, as far as I know if you're opted in to the 'free' BT sport with their broadband packages you automatically 'opt' in to their new chargable sport package.

My BT bill for this month was nearly £25. I got it about 6 months ago for £15 a month. Knew nothing about it. Sky are also a joke, i'm paying about £15 more than when I joined them a year ago.

This inspired me to ring up Sky and complain. Bloke immediately took £8.50 off my bill but then ended the call saying something like 'that'll leave your bill at £95' or something like that, which is more than i'm paying at present  :o  Now i'm even more stressed. Surely a mistake?  :( And I take the piss out of my dad for his haggling skills.

I'd want BT to pay me to watch their coverage of any sport. Absolute amateur hour.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Micheal Owen:

I got rid and decided to get myself one of them dodgy boxes. Disgusting how much they're charging, think they have put a £15 activation fee on now as well if you're a new customer.

He is so bad, it hurts. I can't even laugh at his commentary anymore. You can tell he's trying, but he's just so boring. Poor guy lol

£15 if you sign up to the 12 month contract.

£30 if you do the rolling monthly contract. Disgusting prices

Yes but it's all about competitive markets if you don't like how BT shows the games or their prices sign up with Sky or visa versa.

I'm not with bt because of their prices. I can still have an opinion over their prices.

Unless you like European football BT sport for premier league football is bloody awful. 1 game a week and a majority of the time it's Man United games.

How long do BT Sport have the Champions League rights for?

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, Liverpool won't be being featured any time soon.

but we all liked ESPN and that went down the pan. BT are basically throwing money at it to get it all and going "wanna watch it? gonna cost you!" if we all dont buy BT sport it wont die however, as they use the telecoms business supporting them. and they get so much money from pointless line rentals they won't die. never mind the working mans game not being affordable in the stands, it now aint on the TV!

Sorry I was being sarcastic as there's no competition at all.

Not worrying, I have DVDs of Liverpool winning the competition 5 times, that'll get me through until the Champions League is back on Sky.

Do you still have your Atletico Madrid VHS and Red Star Belgrade?
