Spudulike Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 So is that it then? What's the deal with the extra two hours ssn keep mentioning, if pre-signing paperwork is submitted.. It's all about 'Deal Sheets'.
Socks Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 as long as you have submitted the paperwork (deal sheets) before 6 you can still tie up deals in the next 2 hours but the player has to sign the deal sheets you submit
AmyLGK Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Oh ssn just explained it...So 8pm we panic then
Lesteban Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 So is that it then? What's the deal with the extra two hours ssn keep mentioning, if pre-signing paperwork is submitted.. If they submit a deal sheet to show the general agreement in time for 6pm, they have until 8PM to finalise the transfer
Finnegan Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Basically, as quietly as we do our business, you're not really going to have a clue what business we have and haven't done until much later on - 10pm, 11pm, or unless we have an official statement from Claudio or Top. We could have Carillo, Dyer and Messi all signed on the dotting line pending announcement. We could have them all signed and not done medicals and that's fine up until 8pm.

Guest Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 I don't think it was ever going to happen in this window. That's why we went in so late. We're planning ahead for January or the end of the year when they won't be able to ask 8m. Also the guy can start finding out that the Mighty Leicester are a club to be seen at.

Apparently he didn't want to leave so was angling for a new contract.
what? Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 We understand that Leicester had two offers rejected for Sporting Lisbon's Andre Carrillo before they signed Nathan Dyer from Swansea. It is thought the highest bid was £9m but the player did not want to leave Lisbon. apparently
Guest Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Can't blame him. Lisbon in January or Leicester in January. No Contest.
