Even that would mean that (taking Arsenal and Man City out of the equation) that two teams out of Man Utd / Spurs / Liverpool / Palace etc would have to win 12 out of 21 to overthrow us which is a tough ask in itself. The total required for top 4 this year will almost certainly be lower than the average.

Yeah thats not what he meant. However, if we did go Win Lose Draw from now until the end we probably might still scrape 4th if the teams like Man U, Spurs etc all go along at their current PPG. Man U and Spurs are currently heading for 64 points on current totals, we would have 66 going Win Lose Draw until the end.

Tottenham would still have to step it up a bit, but I wouldn't put that past them. And we also ideally want top 3.Not sure what you mean, there are 21 games to play and he was suggesting to make certain we would need to win all of themI guess we don't need to win every game, we can draw once/twice (depending on the opposition), depending on the Arsenal Man City result. We might even be able to afford to lose against one of them if it is a draw.

Also I see there is a thread discussing this and it seems we may get a tough draw as we would go into the final round, but with no european history we would face a tough draw.
