bluefox88 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Hi All, I'm currently out of the country and will be on a flight when the match is played, does anyone know if the whole game will be shown on Iplayer straight after? Want to turn my phone off and watch without knowing you see... Cheers
MPH Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Not usually available straight after.. Usually takes a couple Of hours.
Guest Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 or anywhere else it'll be played in full on Monday morning?
StanSP Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Not usually straight after. On the BBC website it just says it'll be 'available shortly after broadcast' http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06wpt3v

Want to turn my phone off and watch without knowing you see... Cheers Are you returning to the UK? IPlayer won't work abroad but you could probably use a VPN app to get around this.Your best bet would be to check that reddit link for replays. They seem to come on fairly quickly. Can't remember which thread the link was in...?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Can you view games online with the bbc? A good friend and lifelong STH is stuck in the Royal so I'm going to watch it with him in the wards TV room- assuming no one else has pinched the remote and is watching songs of praise. I'd like a contingency plan though
Spudulike Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I couldn't do that. I was once on a plane heading for the US as City played the Snotters and got the trolly Dolly to get updates from the pilot. I suspect the other passengers thought that my anxiety was due to a fear of flying.

Collymore Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Radio ATC i guess! Doubt it. They do communicate with their technitions on the ground which is more laid back so possibly that way I suppose...
Collymore Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I can imagine "Air crash investigations" finding the cause of a crash to be the pilot mistakingly decending to the Leicester score!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Thanks all Yeh, 'Mayday mayday- can anyone tell me the Leicester score? Over'
urban.spaceman Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 https://www.reddit.com/r/footballhighlights/ Just in case you can't access the BBC. These are highlights but if you look down the right hand side there's links to full matches so it should be on there pretty sharpish. Spoiler free too.

ozleicester Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Flying home this year and our match against Man city was live on the live sport channel... amazing to be watching us play, while at 30,000 feet.. maybe on for you?
Guest Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Thanks to Stokes making me do my homework there is also a chrome extension that allows people abroad to watch iplayer and many other channels. Hola. I've used hola, but have since switched to media hhh. better quality and appears to be a more secure programme
StanSP Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Missed the game earlier as well but it's online. Search BBC Iplayer FA Cup on Google and click the first link. Should be on there.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 We commandeered the wards day room at 3pm so was able to watch it on tv. My mate was saying it's his first cup game he's missed since 1970
Bamba's Babes Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Was anyone else annoyed by the apparent obsession with player close-ups yesterday? The game would continue on in the background as the producer would zoom in on a random player, pop their name on screen and the commentators had to think of something to say about them. It was completely amateurist.
Collymore Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 They were showing the replay of one of the goals when you could hear the crowd going mental in the background. Missed about 30 secs of the game where Ill never know what happened.
