I'm feeling quite confident about these next three games. I think we'll win tonight, win at City, draw at Arsenal.

Expecting a win tonight. Gonna get down early for a pint or two.

COYB's!

innocent question...What time do you get down at night matches, do you drink at the ground or in a pub nearby..??

I'll be in the Swan and Rushes mate. Heading off now.

15 games left and already safe. I want to see us go and throw the kitchen sink at everyone. I rather lose every match playing our exciting fast paced game than that deep boring shite we have attempted previously. Let's atleast die trying! (If we die at all)

Getting the pre match butterflies, think we have to start 11 that beat stoke albeit everyones 100% think we'll be fired up and need to make sure we dont underestimate the scousers you could get anywhere from a 3 to a 9 with them, 2-1 leicester vardy and a morgan header

Do these three games not play much part in determining where we finish then? If we're going for 1st spot then our games against Arsenal and Man City - our competitors - will be more, not less, important than our other fixtures

Well in a way, "no!" That's because the run of 7/8 games offers a lot more points opportunities and I would still consider our battle at the moment is to stay clear of 5th place for as long as we can.

Even in our lofty position, I'd consider gaining 2 points or more from the Man City and Arsenal games a bonus (I think most would have us down for zero on for these away games at the start of the season and i think travelling to them as "title contenders" doesn't exactly help our cause). That's why I don't think these games will define our season, but gain 10-15 over the following 6/7 games after that, then our prospects will be a lot, lot clearer.

But that in turn makes tonight even more crucial, even though you should never look too many games ahead - because 3 points will mean we carry momentum into the two big away games, but with a comfort that even if we got nothing, we'd still be right in the mix of things.

A win would also help get rid of any negative thoughts that might be around the place following the transfer window saga because if the fans feel it, that will filter down to the players in some respect. Our players are not stupid and I imagine they would have fully endorsed a strong new face in the dressing room that was signed with intent - I'm not sure Gray or Armarty quite fit that bill, but who knows we may see Inler break out into something exceptional at Man City / Arsenal in a 5 man midfield?

I believe Man City travel to Spurs after our game with them

Yeah, you're right.

Wow, a top four double-header.

Well yes, 8 games do of course matter more than 3. But you could make that comment about any 3 games so it becomes a meaningless thing to say.

As far as the title goes, our matches against 2nd and 3rd are relatively more important than any others.

The Boxing day team was under par. Vardy with a bug and a bit lame and everyone full of Turkey and mince pies. The new year detox has worked and everyone is on form.

3 nil to City and a statement of intent. If we keep winning the others cannot catch us.

Goals from Vardy, Huth and Ulloa (second half sub). Klopps flopps go home with their tails between their leggs.
