sycokilla Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I really, really want Gray to see some real game time. Since Albrighton's assists are mostly to Mahrez, overly marking Mahrez just about cancels out Albrighton's threat on goal. Get Gray causing more of a threat on the left, then we can punish the opposition for overly concentrating on the right. Or Albrighton if he picks up that part of his game. yes Gray is a talent but at the moment i feel he is a good sub... the few times he has been on the pitch he has done some clever individual things but his thinking is still a little slow, he has failed to see two great runs from other players and tends to amble around not facing the player taking throw ins...not quite up to premiership speed at the moment .

Thats really not how it works. Just because Albrighton has mostly assisted Mahrez doesn't mean he'll struggle to assist others in the rest of the season. His crosses have created numerous chances for several of our players, it's just coincidence that Mahrez has taken more of these than others.
fuchsntf Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Subs bench will be interesting. After departures the bench might be more obvious.Does Armatey get a spot, is he in Claudios thoughts, for the next 3 matches..?? Might we see a suprise from the youngsters.

Might we see a suprise from the youngsters. Claudio said Amartey wouldn't be ready for today. I'll be interested to see if which other youngsters make the bench (I assume some would have to, given that De Laet and Benny are on loan).
RowlattsFox Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 None of the players who have left were on the bench last game!! Bench picks itself though pretty much, only question is whether Chilwell is on there instead of maybe Dyer.

I don't expect that we'll play Liverpool the same way this time around. De Laet and Kram were on the bench on Boxing Day this year. Who takes their place? Gray and___?

Leicesterpool Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I think 2-2 draw, will that be a bad result?
Fox92 Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Liverpool counter attack well and press well too. Bit like ourselves. Don't think it'll be an easy game tonight but I'm certainly looking forward to it. 2-2
SecretPro Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Hoping for a win because the next two games are much harder. I'll be happy with 4 points from the next three.
Beliall Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Hoping for a win because the next two games are much harder. I'll be happy with 4 points from the next three. I'd bee happy with 3. anything else would be fantastic. Although, I do think we are capable of 7
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I think 2-2 draw, will that be a bad result? not a bad result but I would be a little disappointed giving we are at home and the next two games coming along..
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 A win would be HUGE for us tonight... I can't see any of our 'rivals' slipping up tonight, so a defeat would put its own pressures on the next 2 games, where as a win and maintaining that gap just takes that pressure off us and onto our opponents. But in truth - it's the run of games after these 3 which will determin where we finish.

Just because Albrighton has mostly assisted Mahrez doesn't mean he'll struggle to assist others in the rest of the season. His crosses have created numerous chances for several of our players, it's just coincidence that Mahrez has taken more of these than others. If he starts linking up well with Shinji for goals, or even starts assisting Vardy more, I'll be over the moon. But currently if you look at his positional heatmap, he's really not rushing on goal. And we really need him to be another goal scoring threat, so we're less reliant on Vardy and Mahrez. yes Gray is a talent but at the moment i feel he is a good sub... the few times he has been on the pitch he has done some clever individual things but his thinking is still a little slow, he has failed to see two great runs from other players and tends to amble around not facing the player taking throw ins...not quite up to premiership speed at the moment . Fair enough. I'm thinking more of a sub. But to get premiership quality, he'll need gametime. And what better time than now, when we need a more threating leftwing?
Countryfox Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 The lads will be up for this after their lay off and I see a good win on the cards and Klip-Klops glasses not getting knocked off his beak.
Alf Bentley Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 A win would be HUGE for us tonight... But in truth - it's the run of games after these 3 which will determin where we finish. Would be surprising if Spurs, or certainly Man City dropped points tonight, but I'm not without hope that Arsenal might make arses of themselves against the Saints, who've won their last 3 without conceding a goal. A win tonight and then 2 draws and we'd still be top of the league after our difficult matches, if my maths are right. 3 points tonight and we're still firmly in contention even if we lose to Arsenal and Man City. The future's so bright, I've got to wear shades!

But in truth - it's the run of games after these 3 which will determin where we finish. Do these three games not play much part in determining where we finish then? If we're going for 1st spot then our games against Arsenal and Man City - our competitors - will be more, not less, important than our other fixtures
EnglishOxide Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I'd snap your hand off for 3 draws from the next 3 games.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Imagine if we won all 3, guaranteed 6 points clear at the top!
kingcarr21 Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I'd snap your hand off for 3 draws from the next 3 games. No way. Have faith. We can win all 3. COYB
ARM1968 Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Man City might suffer a Pep wobble. Arsenal usually wobbled. We're not usually in this position. Keep strong and March on.
wardyfox86 Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I would go with: Kasper Fuchs Not Hinteregger Not Dragovic Not Arias Not De Jong Not Chantome Not Eder Not Ziyech Not Musa Not Aboubakar Strong lineup, 2-0 win. Not Aboubakar with a brace!
Buce Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Imagine if we won all 3, guaranteed 6 points clear at the top! Only if Spurs drop points, otherwise it would be five.
ajthefox Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Liverpool are pretty inconsistent but with them beating us already this season I feel like they have somewhat of the upper hand tactically. This worries me, even if they have for long periods of time been dog shit this season. I really hope we do them though, would absolutely love to still be 3 points clear atop the table, and be able to laud the 3 points over my Liverpool supporting mates. COYB
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Only if Spurs drop points, otherwise it would be five. Oh yeah! The cvnts.
