lestajigs Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Transfer deadline day is pretty much boring now they don't have the fans in the back ground, but I think this had a major impact on it! Blokes a legend in America. lol.
lestajigs Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 At least we used to have a bit of entertainment now it's just dam flat! Fair play to villa lol
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 How do we know Gray is a bargain with almost zero prem experience or Amerty, No icing on the cake either just custard pie splatted on your face! Why have I got this picture in my head of a child stamping it's feet and having a tantrum?
dannythefox Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Terrible but if we don't get any striker injurys we should be fine. You watch vardy will get injured tonight and out for 6 weeks then we are in trouble.
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Sooooo. We're in a title race, could have done with reinforcements but we've thinned the squad.
kingpowerout Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Can't decide whether it's arrogance or naivety by Rudkin? We shouldn't have let Kram go unless we were certain that we had a replacement coming in. I know transfers are never black and white but did Rudkin assume that because we are top we could just pick one of Europe's star strikers or did he cock up due to inexperience with negotiating big deals? He has brought in a lot of good players though so I'm not too down but we're never going to be in a better position to claim a top 4 place or dare I say it, challenge for the title. A couple of injuries in the wrong areas of the pitch and we could blow it. Fingers crossed we don't and let's enjoy the last 15 games!

Ranieri went from "confident" he'd be bringing in a striker to looking like he couldn't bring on his own orgasm.

norwichfox Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't see this as a complete disaster. We have 2 of the players we were desperate to sign in the summer in Armatey and Gray at reasonable prices, have signed a useful looking future keeper in Daniel Iversen for the princely sum of 38k. We've offloaded Kram, Benny and Inler on loan and in doing so kept our wages bill at a sensible level, bear in mind that any can be recalled if the situation arises. Also lets not forget we have Joe Dodoo who I believe could step up to the plate if needed. We're still top of the league, this time last year according to all of the "experts" we were certs for relegation.....the same "experts" aren't giving us much chance of the title or top 3 finish Still would have liked another out and out striker, but it just didn't pan out right for us.
NewquayFox Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 All is good, all our top players remain at the club, we didn't splash out stupid amounts of cash on players who can't get a starting place in teams below us, we have signed 3 very promising players in this window, we have loaned out a few that can't get in our team and the old chestnut 'We are top of the Premier League' so stop moaning you lot... Up the Titty....
The Railway Man Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 Yup, but on we go, we've come this far go again.
Guest TaggertvsWise Posted 2 February 2016 Posted 2 February 2016 I think we have shown strength in not doing anything too silly and resolve in not being pushed around. These traits need to be displayed in our club and not just within the 11 guys on the pitch. I trust the judgement of the board, Ranieri and Walsh so whereas it may not be an ideal outcome we have remained resolute and staunch to the values that have gotten us here.
