Swarles Barkley Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I feel that should be not win the league the season will fall under a massive "what if" in regards to signings in January. Even if we signed remy, musa etc we were still highly unlikely to win it but at least we would have shown intent. Massive shame really but we shall see hey. In ranieri we trust!
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Of course it will be made out 'We are fine with the three we have' and 'We are happy with what we have'. Sorry, but this is horse shit. Of those three, only two are a real threat. Injure Vardy and we are literally in the shit and that isn't over egging it. Sure, we are not getting relegated but if we have ambition of finishing top three and especially winning the league then we better hope nobody gets injured. I'm worried Man City or Arsenal will be looking to give JV a knock knowing full well it will probably take us out of the title race.
RoboFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Disappointing if nobody else comes in... Having said that, I highly doubt that Walshy Sr. et al have all been sat around with their thumbs up their arses thinking "I know, we'll wait until 1st February until we make any moves for players... That'll show 'em" It's clear that all of the targets were unobtainable for one reason or another... Better to get the players they really wanted than to get some 3rd choice sh*t show in and risk upsetting the apple cart.

Wage cap screwed us. can't find anyone to come in to help win the league and play Champions League football for 40k a week? Those players don't exist.
st albans fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We signed two players that we tried to sign in August. That shows good continuity of thought and planning. However, we let a striker leave without having a replacement assured. No other clubs seem to do that. Why did we?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Even Marsaille signed a striker for gods sake!
gerrytaggart Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Whats the f##ks all this???? Top of the league and still no one wants to come here.... I suppose it will be the same story when we win the champions league too!!
Raw Dykes Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Wage cap screwed us. can't find anyone to come in to help win the league and play Champions League football for 40k a week? Those players don't exist. We, Leicester City, are top of the PL with a small wage bill. How has it screwed us exactly?
weller54 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If Vardy gets injured now.. We're totally screwed!
DangerFox Posted 1 February 2016 Author Posted 1 February 2016 My thoughts of 48 hours ago look to be well predicted really. Anti-climax! Trust me I didn't want to be right. I did say we'd bring some crud in but we haven't even done that. I actually feel worse than before this hype. We had a small squad anyway and now, just like everybody else us predicting, an injury and we are buggered!
yorkie1999 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Why do these sky sports babes have to wear clothes?

Guest Cujek Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Any dildos on show tonight? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLuimI2YYqE
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 This is beyond an anti climax, it's a big disappointment and today's deals sending players out and not bringing anyone in have left us weak in 2 areas
HankMarvin Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 its the equivalent to eating a delicious jam donut , only to find it has no jam
TOMBlcfc Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I was annoyed when you started this thread, thinking we were certainly going to sign a striker and no matter who it was I would have got behind them. But in fact it has been an anti climax, in fact it's been worse than that. Benny and De Laet gone, played around with by chelsea, refused by stoke and (tried to be) taken advantage of by moscow. Today hasn't been great for us but onwards and upwards, this squad has got us here and we've seen that they are capable of excelling for the remainder of the season. Can't really complain as a leicester fan at the moment, on to beating those scousers!
DangerFox Posted 1 February 2016 Author Posted 1 February 2016 Let's face it, whatever our feelings right now, we know tomorrow night we'll be there watching or listening on the radio and hoping for another win! The same for the rest of the season and if we do get into the Champions League or even better win the league against all the odds, then I'm sure we'll probably be frustrated again in the summer! But we will always follow our beloved foxes! (Especially at the moment, we are top don't you know)

RDL and Benny have gone, yes, but you cant blame them for wanting game time, which they werent getting here, that only makes me proud that we have such a strong starting 11. Chin up, we will be ok.
Freesolo Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Something else....to get some of you guys through tomorrow I hear prozac is good seriously though I genuinely feel we've had a fantastic window to date Gray bargain and can't wait to see Amartey when he makes his appearance . I'm also confident there will be some nice icing on the cake tomorrow so relax and good night. How do we know Gray is a bargain with almost zero prem experience or Amerty, No icing on the cake either just custard pie splatted on your face!
