ian1984summer Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 In an ideal world we will sign one of the talked about striker before 11pm tonight. However, the question is which of the striker would you drop from the squad should we keep the same formation? its been Kramaric of late (gone now). Or do we keep a bench full of strikers?
Donut Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 A new striker is a different option. No one drops out as such, just another option for the appropriate occasion or scenario in a game
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Drop schwarzer. If kasper gets injured, stick Leo in goal. Sorted.
ian1984summer Posted 1 February 2016 Author Posted 1 February 2016 i didnt clarify properly, my bad! i dont mean the 25 man squad i mean the match day squad?
Aus Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It has to be Ulloa for The new striker, Okazaki is starting to play really well and has earnt his place in the squad. Leo has been poor for most of the season

WesMorganGod Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 No one gets dropped, that would be the start of a huge mistake. Vardy and Okazaki start, if we buy a new striker then he will have to wait his turn and compete with Ulloa for a chance to come on as sub. there is only 15 games left so its pointless. Should just keep it as it is, its great as it is. If we had a big fixture list then it should be done, but its not broken so lets not fix it and waste moneys.
Lestoh Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm not being funny, but if Remy or Musa sign they get thrown straight in the first team over Ulloa and Okazaki - especially Remy with his PL experience. They're proven prolific goalscorers.

Not a lot of point looking for upgrades if they are not gonna get in the match day squad. Save the money and through away this great chance.
foxinsox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Likely be Ulloa. The question is whether the new guy is starting or on the bench. My expectation is the latter. Claudio is the opposite of the Timkerman, he mixes in the new guys slowly. Even Kante was a substitute at the beginning despite very promising cameos.
Swarles Barkley Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Amartey could potentially take up inler, de laet and Wasilewskis places on the bench? Probably two at max though
Aus Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 18 with everyone fit and available: Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Albrighton Kante Drinkwater Mahrez Vardy Remy* new striker Schwarzer Okazaki Wasyl Schluup James Amarty Grey Not in squad King, Ulloa, De Laet, Inler, Hamer, Benny, Chilwell, Dyer
Loggy88 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 A new striker coming in doesn't make too much difference to the bench for me. You can still have 2 strikers on bench if and when needed. We need more competition and support for Vardy.
gerrytaggart Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Amartey could potentially take up inler, de laet and Wasilewskis places on the bench? Probably two at max though kinell he must be a big lad.
DB11 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Leo is a good option, even if it's just for defending at corners
st albans fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It depends who we are playing Some players will get a complete rest each week Eg. When we play WBA at home, I guarantee that Leo will be somewhere in the squad if he is still here.
