Least I can do. I'll be updated in the next week (Wembley permitting) as to whether I'll be going or not... Win the semi, and 100% will pass this ticket on.

I'll keep everyone updated.

Thanks for coming on and clarifying and the nice words about LCFC. I've seen a lot of nice comments from Everton fans on social media re tickets which makes a nice change!

I know for a fact that if I can't go, i'll be offering my ticket to a Leicester fan.

Not that if any Blues see this, they may be happy with me, but how many chances will you get to see your side lift the league title?

But it is a very big if, i've only missed two aways all season.

the only worry i have is fans getting ejected or hurt. granted i was at goodison park and met no trouble in december but dont know what their away following is like. hell we were drinking in the pub over the road from goodison all afternoon and no one cared. just kept ourselves to ourselves and everyone seemed happy.

Depends on the club, spent a good hour in the fan park in sunderland on sunday in my shirt and scarf and no one battered an eye lid.

With the club saying they'll actively seek out any illegal ticket sale - and let's face it there seems to be quite a lot of these tickets - what would / will happen to them? Would they go back on sale to us?

i emailled them about ticket.bs before the tickets went on sale and jim replies saying they were looking into it. not much they can do really.

So why bother stating they'll look into it. If it's legal for them to be bought and then resold for £15k.

selling on of premier league tickets is illegal as far as im aware unless the club approves (hence why you can get spurs tickets on stubhub i believe) but ticketbis is based in spain and therefore circumnavigates the law. same way as piratebay is illegal so they just change where the server is hosted.

end of the day, i have 2 tickets for the game, if i was that way inclined i could put them online now for 30k for the pair, it may cause a ripple and more news stories but if no one buys them, it isnt sold is it? its a non story in my eyes.

disclaimer* i am not selling my tickets, its an example.

I know, so annoying how it's being reported as if people are actually paying these prices. They're not!

That's 2 different issues tho, if tickets are being listed on sites and the club can't do anything then fine, but that's not the case.

If you listed yours and the club can trace them back to you, remembering this is only an example, the club from what Jim told me, will remove any benefits you have, ie season tickets or membership for future use.

Plus if they are aware of these tickets, they can cancel them so the barcodes don't work at the turnstyle and someone who has just seen you rip them off to the tune of 30k is gonna be how happy with you exactly?

That's not the point, the point is Leicester fans can't afford them or buy them and non Leicester fans will probably end up buying them, which is why the fans are pissed off.

true but the way ticketbis get around this is they just put the block or "longside"

for arguements sake i know my tickets for everton are sk1 row b seat numbers elude me. so if i now went and listed them jim could zone in and go "oh its [email protected] who is selling these tickets, goodbye membership"

without cancelling a whole block jim is fighting against the tide here.

no one will buy them just you watch. no leicester fan will pay it and no non leicester fan is going to part with 7 grand to see a game they dont want to see.

I can't imagine many non Leicester fans wanting to pay £15,000 to watch us!

thats assuming they have tickets in the first place. i will be honest i have been known to tout tickets to gigs for profit. not football i must add, i currently have 2 tickets for busted i cant shift!  but to have these tickets you have to think, for the blocks they are they would have to be gold or family members, if they were sponsors they would all be west stand. i refuse to believe these tickets are genuine, espeically when the premier league list the website as one of their unauthorised ticket sellers.

Posted

Haha how much do you want for the busted tickets?

i bought them for £180 each as they are platinum but im open to offers now. ive just took the listing down to £90 a ticket just to try and shift them!

Posted

Just had a text from a friend to say his boss has got 3 tickets from someone he knows at the ticket office with no membership.

That's why all the tickets went people....

Classic glory hunting Busted fans. Moaning about how they couldn't get tickets back in the day and now they're shit no one wants to know.

I know people in the ticket office and I didn't get tickets! I'm kicking off.

But then... I didn't actually ask them because I don't think that's v fair to a. expect it from them and most important b. on the others who miss out!

Yeah that was fairly obvious, loads of tickets will have been sold like that, who you know etc. basically the club don't really give a shit about where the tickets go, if they all go that's mission accomplished.

staff get an allocation, of course they do! hardly "not giving a shit" more "looking after the staff"

Yeah but I bet more tickets went to staff, players, anyone connected to the club in a working way, friends of the club etc. than should have been (allocated) is my point.

If anyo

if your listing something without showing details, then I guess they are much more difficult to trace granted, but there's tickets on ebay and facebook etc, showing the physical tickets and they are traceable, with all manner of details, seat no. row, names, client refs.

I know for a fact the club are doing everything they can to stop it, but I guess handing them out to players and staff they can end up anywhere.

I already know Leo has gifted 1 to his neighbour, that's a nice gesture. Staff in the ticket office making cash on the other hand is not.

the quote doesn't state a date...he could have had them before sale?
