smr Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 They should have stopped selling memberships a long time ago. Or least created a membership priority depending on when you got them. Not even tried to get tickets personally, and would never pay over the top prices, no matter how much I'd desperately want to be there. I do have a 'friend' who could access to United season ticket though. Who I'm trying to convince to let me have. They stopped selling gold memberships a long time ago... so it would have made no difference as they sold out at gold priority.
Leicester Rule! Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 1 x Man U available, willing to exchange for Everton
Monk Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Presumably that was a fair assumption, nobody could ever have predicted the phenomena that's occurred! The club could have handled it a lot better. Silver memberships should not have been on sale beyond christmas. I know that would not have helped with this game but it would have with others. Poor show by the ticket office.
Spiritwalker Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 In some ways I'm less pissed off missing out on this than I was for Swansea. At least I've missed out to gold members who bought their memberships at the start of the season rather than all the new silver members. On a separate note no one could begrudge the squad 15 tickets each but 3000 hospitality wtf, that is seriously ****ed up.
glar84 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 They ain't selling for that much, only selling for about £115 each ticket. Those prices are just what retards are charging Where are they selling for £115? Everywhere I've seen has been crazy money.
blueharmie Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Money talks. Club don't care about who fills the seats.
GaelicFox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Money talks. Club don't care about who fills the seats. They do ...they prefer to have someone paying £500 for one game thanks someone paying 600 for all 19 !
An Away Move Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Dare I say that some season ticket holders can't have it both ways? I'm probably referring to P1 status STHolders. There's a lot of moaning on here about references being given away and 'plastics' getting hold of precious away tickets, but there's a massive conflict of interest as I see it. STHolders, especially those in P1 category get to stay in that category FOREVER whether they actually go to matches or not. All they need do is get auto-away tickets and sell them on if they don't go. As a Gold Fox I very rarely get chance to buy a ticket as the system is meant to work. The only reason people like me seek to buy tickets of STHolders is because those people want to preserve their status at the top of the pile. Therefore enough of the criticising of people who seek to buy references / tickets. It's hypocrisy.
Karljohn Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Someone I know has managed to track down someone at the club. He's the official albeit 3 hand explanation. 23000 season tickets. Everton have taken a full 3300 allocation. Hospitality for this game is 3000 Inc approx 300 for players. Being allocated 15 each. Leaving roughly 2700 for sale to members. Apparently we have 2000 gold and 1000 Fox family or whatever they are called. Hence today's carnage. They are claiming however most gold and family members got tickets. Unless tickets are returned by companies/sponsors nothing is going to change. I have family membership but bought an additional adult too. Are these factored in to the figures I wonder. 1000 family is minimum 2000 tickets. Plus 2000 gold means at least 1300 missed out..add in further adults or kids on family fox membership's and it could be 2000 missing out.
Moksky Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Amongst all the complaints, I'm looking for 1 ticket for this, please PM , good reference, will collect
Hubert Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 3,000 hospitality tickets. Where do I apply for a job serving the prawn sandwiches to their seats?
VLC86 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 3,000 hospitality tickets. Where do I apply for a job serving the prawn sandwiches to their seats? Not sure seats eat prawn sarnies to be honest, hear they prefer tuna mayo. In all seriousness I feel sorry for anyone without a ticket as it could be a huge occasion, glad i kept my season ticket even when i was living in Italy for a while last year as if i hadn't I would have had to go without.

Does anyone know how many hospitality tickets go for a "normal" game ?
red5 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 yup @@red5 you seen this Saves us camping outside the TO next week, At least several hundred or thousands of people will get to see the Everton match who have no interest in lcfc, thanks top

Harry - LCFC Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Saves us camping outside the TO next week, At least several hundred or thousands of people will get to see the Everton match who have no interest in lcfc, thanks top Well with you here. I'd rather the owners got rid of these give-aways and cancelled however many hospitality packages they can with the money they've saved. Obviously they ought to get rid of the lot out of principle but that seems like a fair enough deal to me. Free beer at one game isn't worth it to the unlucky ones who have to miss out to a bunch of uninterested nobodies later in the season.

glar84 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Hospitality has been sold out for much of the season To be fair "hospitality" is a bit of general term too. A fair few in hospitality are longterm fans who just want to have a nice meal before the game. Totally different kettle of fish to freebies handed out to mates/business friends/"VIPs".
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Hospitality has been sold out for much of the season I don't know how this invalidates my opinion that it would be better to reduce the number of business deals with the money saved from getting rid of these give-aways. You'll have to give an explanation.
coolcol Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 This Season regularly 2000-2500 and big games more BTW...Claridge are you Irish ? I am from Belfast and I think remember seeing somewhere that you were from the 'Oul country' ?
glar84 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36020849 It'd be a bit of a shitter if you paid £15,000 and results meant that there'd be no trophy presentation until the Chelsea game.

Jesus if we win the league these people should have streets named after them not people moaning at them about a situation that is beyond their control Honestly I despair sometimes at the ease which people can so easily turn on good people doing a great job Bloody sad
