ozvaldo Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I'm sick of hearing so many people say we've been lucky this season. Especially a bitter Aston Villa fan / family friend. That save isn't lucky. It's a world class, full-stretch save.If Kasper didn't move and the ball hit both posts and then fell into his arms, that would be luck.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Kasper is a great keeper, he's been great for us over the years and very underrated by our fans!

Exactly, if Schmeichel doesn't touch it the post is irrelevant. Brilliant save.
Clever Fox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 he's been different class since Christmas. Even coming to collect Balls. If he can keep improving he really will become a top top Keeper.
Thracian Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Nothing lucky about it. Kasper stretched full length and diverted the ball onto the post. That's what he's there for. To stop the ball crossing the line. The opposition get nothing for near misses. For me the bloke's grown in stature since Christmas. Even played a decent part in our opening goal on Sunday.
Babylon Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Still doesn't budge from his bloody line on crosses though.
Jimbo Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Was a great save. Almost reminded me of another time, at the same end of the ground, but Schmeichel was playing for Cardiff. Can't remember who had the shot, but it was low, he got the smallest of touches to it, it hit the post, rebounded and hit him on the back of his head. How it didn't go in I'll never know! I was holding my breath at that attempt at the weekend from West Ham, especially when it hit the other post, it was all a bit slow motion and I was just waiting for a hammers player to smash it in to the net
Thracian Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Still doesn't budge from his bloody line on crosses though. Haha - one collision with Huth or Morgan and his eyes could end up as a pair of clackers.
AKCJ Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Still doesn't budge from his bloody line on crosses though. Not having that Babylon. He's been a hundred times better than previous seasons at dealing with crosses.
Raj Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 It's incidents like this which could win you the league....hopefully
