gdl9050 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Everyone seems to have forgotten this! In the first minute. Was an absolute wonder save. If that was De Gea it would be talked about for years. Anyone got a video of it?
Monk Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Think my jaw hit the floor, everyone around us thought it had gone in, and suddenly it was cleared. Amazing save
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Really did think this was in at the time! Didn't notice Schmeichel saved the header though, but if so what a save.
Bryn Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Second half of the season he's really stepped up. He isn't the finest goalkeeper and there might be technically better ones available, but they won't be leagues ahead of him and Kasper as a person is hugely important to this team. Would be folly to look at replacements.
tsintskaro Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 gif for this?would be nice at first i did not notice it was even a save
gdl9050 Posted 17 April 2016 Author Posted 17 April 2016 Ah it's lucky now is it.... Haha I didn't name it! Just got it off youtube
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 https://youtu.be/26QW-CZfm30 Incredible stop
dedlock Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Magnificent save. Why does the clip head it "lucky"?
purpleronnie Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Haha I didn't name it! Just got it off youtube I know mate, the reference was to the uploader not you.
blaser Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Fudge, I missed this at the game too many late arrivals blocked my view, only saw Kasper collecting the ball.
Lloydwasmylife Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 The save was incredible, but let's not pretend that he touched it just enough to get it onto the post and with just enough spin to take it along the ground and onto the other post. And shot that hits both posts is always going to have an element of luck about it. Could have easily span in or to an opposition player
Matt Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Incredible. But why didn't the West Ham player follow it in at the back post? I know Huth (? Can't remember now! ) was chasing it down to clear aswell, but the West Ham player at the back post was just happy to watch it in, you chase it in incase that happens. I mean i'm glad he didn't but if that was a Leicester player i'd be going mad he's not going after it!

shailen Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Probably one of the best saves I've ever seen. Absolutely world class that.
Biggus Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Amazing save. The best and most significant of his career I would think. Deffo one of the best I have seen. He covered a lot of ground(air?) to get to that .

David Hankey Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 "Lucky save"!! Someone else who hasn't a clue and doesn't know what they're talking about.
