Do you absolutely need an s7? Have a look at the one plus 2 £250 for cash and get a sim only plan £20 per month save yourself cash as you are only signing a month to month contract

Fair enough, depending on your coverage have a look at 3, 2 year contracts about 40 depends on your data allowance

I'm on a sim only rolling 30 day contract. Up until a month ago I was paying £12.90 for 200 minutes, unlimited texts & data.

Then Three put it up to £20 a month for the same deal. Tried looking round for a cheaper deal but couldn't find one for that price with the plan I wanted.

Does nobody else just buy there phone and then get a rolling SIM only?  I'll keep mine for 2 years so looking at ~£330 a year.

I paid about £300 for My Moto X Style and pay £15 a month for 4gb data, unlimited texts and mins.

Can't believe people have £60pm 24 month contracts, it's insane.

Yep, I just buy the phone separate when I want a new one, and go on a sim only deal.  I get 250 mins, 5000 texts and 1.5gb 4G data, for £5.

I don't even buy the latest and greatest phones either as I dont see the point, I will always buy a highly rated phone that was from the previous year, so a year behind the curve so to speak.  Saves an absolute packet.

This. I bought my S6 outright and I'm on an unlimited everything sim only for like £16 a month. Works out cheaper over the 24 months. I'd rather take a big hit to start with and have lower monthly payments. Not going with 3 next time though. Their coverage is wank.

How do you get the best sim only deals? I only want 2gb data and 200mins/texts but can't find anything cheaper than about £14

Stay with the same provider for 16 years and then get unlimited everything for just over £8 a month like I do.

Seriously though, it is worth trying your own provider more than once, making sure that you get through to the please don't leave team (officially known as retentions, usually) and don't assume that what you're offered over the phone is the same as what you'd get in the shop.

Weirdly, last couple of times I took out a new contract what they offered me in the shop was loads better than what was on the table going direct, and it always used to be the other way round

I'm planning to do this for my next phone when I my current contract runs out in October.

Looking at the S7 or see what HTC have. Will be sticking with Android.

I'm looking to buy the S7 in the next month or so. Just trying to work out if I'm going to get much more for my money than the S6 Ive already got.

I do this, I'm on the moto g currently. I used to trade phones for a while as you would be suprised what you can make on them for little effort, they are all so similar I can't understand why people go crazy for them.

Prices for mobile plans in canada are a bloody joke. Unlimited calling/text nationwide with voicemail call display and say 2GB of data is $60 cdn (£32). Same plan with 6GB is close to $100 cdn(£54).

Theyve realised everyone connects to WiFi and so started charging silly rates for mobile data. Its criminal if you ask me. But they gotta make money somehow to appease the stock holders. Cvnts.

Not to mention you still got to pay $400+ for say an s7 on a 2 year contract.

I have an iPhone 6 64Gb model, retailed around £600 at time of contract, unlimited text, calls 20Gb data £50Pm

Over two years i could of saved around £200 by splitting the deal, a 24 month deal is never a 24 month deal if you know what you are doing you can upgrade up to 6 months in advance so that probably covers the £200 difference

my phones storage is about full. Very little space  left and I have moved most things onto my SD card. I have checked the help section  and it seems there is a slot for a memory card but cannot get the back off atm. There is the Sim slot and SD slot shown on a vid and also a 64gb being put in. It is even refusing upgrades for apps. I have deleted loads of stuff. A lot of memory seems to be taken up by the system apps which should not be deleted according to pop up messages.

I think it is a Limia 640. This is the problem with having phones that do more than make and receive calls.
