Ordered two c/W of the TRX Vintage. Sent all blue back as not as nice as the TRX Spezial. Kept yet blue/yellow

 

also sold a few pairs on eBay that I hadn’t worn and got cheap - made a few quid 

 

only so many pairs you can wear

Got the Navy TRX Vintage through this week, lovely pair. Told the missus I’d slow down this year but that’s not gone well

Got myself some white converse ox pro leather a few weeks back, and get myself a pair of black Stan smith in a sale over the weekend. Was going to get myself some maroon chucks from converse in celebration of our FA Cup win but the family advised against it

I read an article some years ago in which a footware expert was comparing high price trainers with 'lower end' brands including supermarket own brands.

In terms of general performance and, in particular, support for the crucial parts of the foot/ankle in cushioning impact, the cheaper ones fared as well and even better in some cases.

 

That said;  those Lidi ones could do with a rethink, colour wise.
