Id have given MOTM to Kante, typical covering every blade of grass and in the thick of it performance.

 

I thought Payet was much improved inthe 2nd half, obviously scored the worldie but first half he didnt have the impact i thought he would, and I thought his delivery wasnt particularly good.

 

Evra and Sagna, particularly Evra, are weaknesses and are not up to the standard of the rest of the team. Evra tonight was terrible all game

Kante and Pogba are obviously 2 different midfielders, but in terms of doing a job for the team, Kante is on par if not better.

Isn't it quite refreshing how the two best players on the pitch were players who played for less fancied clubs who are in that squad on the back of excellent form.

 

Although I think that's as far as it goes with France. I cannot see how Giroud is starting for them. They spent a good portion of that game trying to play him in behind the defence as well which someone like Gameiro or Lacazette would be far better for.

How bad was Evra couldn't do a thing right, cracking goal to win it, saved me from losing some dosh and a million others too no doubt.
