Fox92 Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Some of them have got to be fake. You can't be that stupid.
yorkie1999 Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Must be worked out on actual amounts of times and not percentages, if it was I'd guarantee Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is the most misspelled place in the world.

I mean London... it's Lon and it's don - what's the problem?!?! And Bath... it's bath, as in that thing you haven't had for weeks (I'm talking of people who would spell it Barff, not you Darkon.) There's a few fair ones in there. Carlisle variations I can understand, Lougborough (my Bro-in-law once had an American ask him for directions to "Loo-goo-boo-roo"), yeah get that, and Stirling, being spelt Sterling... but wait! Most of the mis-spellings don't make sense! I.E. Sterling wasn't one of the listed mis-spellings! You wouldn't put Lesster either... it would be Lester or Liecester (unless you were cruelly mocking our fair city! ) Only a supreme retard would spell Cotswold Cost World. Unless there's some kind of subtle mockery of places and accents involved

To be fair I would also spell Middlesborough as Shithole so it's probably just not been picked up yet. haha what a Cnut, Iv only gone and spelt it wrong anyway
Great Boos Up Posted 6 August 2016 Posted 6 August 2016 Bournmouth and Wisbeach and Edingborough I tend to notice the most, although I do get a bit muddled with Worcester and Worcestershire as they don't sound right to how their spelt, but it is right between Brum, Bristol and Wales so I guess it's just a historical moshpit of accents. We are the smallest area in the world with most regional accents; no wonder people get confused.
Foxhateram Posted 6 August 2016 Posted 6 August 2016 No one without an affiliation to Leicester can spell our great city's name. It must be higher up the list than that! Living in Devon I can honestly count how many people can spell Leicester on my right hand. It is normally spelt lester or lichester.
