Same wage bill as Tottenham

I expect similar results. People keep saying last season was a one off, then don't pay the players top 4 salaries.

A number of our players are on 80k per week.

You sure about that? They've been handing out new contracts the past few weeks.

Ericsson was on 40k per week previously. And alli etc

Alli/Dier/Rose are all on 60k-70k now. Difference is if we don't give out a lot of money, the players leave, whereas Spurs are more likely to hold onto their players as they are regularly in the top 6.

Sadly the pay has led to less desire in the Prem it seems. "We've already won it why should we bother" I guess.

They haven't lost all their run in games yet.

They've been handing out improved contracts in the last few weeks so I'd think their wage bill is higher than ours .

If you pay 500 grand for a 3 bedroom house and then see your mate get a 4 bedroom house with a bigger garden in the same area for same price how are you feeling?

Pathetic thread. Their wage bill is still a lot higher than ours, not that it's really that relevant.

Is it really? I doubt that. I don't think they have ever paid a player 100 grand a week

So your happy to pay the players more money for poor results? you would make a great owner of a business. If we are paying big bucks we must have the best results possible. It's how life works my friend.

It isn't. Look through season after season of the premier league or any league and the teams who have the biggest wage bills generally are at the top.

What a wum. We've had 7 games in 22 days with mainly the same players playing and we're expected to roll over a Southampton side who haven't let in a goal in how many games? There are numerous examples of clubs high wage bills that don't do much in the league or cup.

Such a coincidence how the team with the biggest wage bill in the world is top of the league.

They had the biggest wage bill in the world last season too.
