Benjani Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 I expect similar results. People keep saying last season was a one off, then don't pay the players top 4 salaries. A number of our players are on 80k per week.
FireFox Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 You sure about that? They've been handing out new contracts the past few weeks.

lgfualol Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 Alli/Dier/Rose are all on 60k-70k now. Difference is if we don't give out a lot of money, the players leave, whereas Spurs are more likely to hold onto their players as they are regularly in the top 6. Sadly the pay has led to less desire in the Prem it seems. "We've already won it why should we bother" I guess.
Webbo Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 If it was just about the wage bill we'd have been in the bottom 5 last season.

Koke Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 They've been handing out improved contracts in the last few weeks so I'd think their wage bill is higher than ours .
Tielemans63 Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 Benjani's back! Didn't hear much from you whilst we were doing really well. Weird

FireFox Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 Unless someone has a credible source that our wage bills are close, lock?
Benjani Posted 2 October 2016 Author Posted 2 October 2016 1 minute ago, Ashley said: Your argument is invalid on so many levels but carry on its funny to watch. It isn't. Look through season after season of the premier league or any league and the teams who have the biggest wage bills generally are at the top.

Chico1958 Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 Who cares how much they get paid as long as they earn the money they get paid That's relevent
Ashley Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 What a wum. We've had 7 games in 22 days with mainly the same players playing and we're expected to roll over a Southampton side who haven't let in a goal in how many games? There are numerous examples of clubs high wage bills that don't do much in the league or cup.
Benjani Posted 2 October 2016 Author Posted 2 October 2016 Such a coincidence how the team with the biggest wage bill in the world is top of the league.
