Guest ttfn Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Zieler 4 Hernandez 3 Morgan 6 Huth 6 Fuchs 3 Mahrez 6 King 3 Amartey 5 Albrighton 4 Slimani 4 Vardy 6 Okazaki 5 Ranieri 2 (stay but somebody please have a word about the formation)
davieG Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 The formation wasn't the problem it was the total lack of intensity, they're not playing like they're must win games like we did last year add to that so many indifferent performances with sloppy passes and allowing themselves to be robbed of the ball.

I don't disagree, but this is 8 away games from which we've taken 1 point and we've set up with (broadly) the same formation each time. It was time for something different a while ago.

norwichfox Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Going to watch it again before thinking about giving any rating.....where's that fcuking humble pie thread.....
ZeGuy Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Zieler 4 Makes a top save just to ruin it the second after. Should have saved that shot. grotesque clearance on the back of their striker. Hernandez 4 Not a FB and it shows. No offensive support too. Morgan 5 Found the CBs actually better than usual. Huth 5 Fuchs 4 Poor performance today. Mahrez 6 Tightly marked, abandoned by the midfield. Not much he could do. Good through ball for Okazaki in the 2nd half. King 4 Passenger Amartey 4 Poor defensively and offensively. Can't seem to tackle without fouling. Dreadful first touch. Albrighton 4 Poor crossing and passing in General. One good cross squandered by Slimani in the first half though. Slimani 4 Had a stinker today. Poor first touch. Should have buried Albrighton's cross in. Not played to his strenghts though and still subbed way too early. Vardy 6 Chased a lot. No service. Okazaki 5 Musa 3 One good cross. But woeful first touch and no football intelligence whatsoever. Overpriced sub. Ulloa 5 Should have scored that one. Ranieri 4 (stay) Subs: questionable timing either too soon or too late. Why not Mendy in the 2nd half? Why Musa? Just why?
Always Next Year Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Starting to think that some of last years players are over the hill, and the new players are a total waste of money. Zieler 4. No clue on how to command his area, to slow to react. Hernandez 2. Total waste of space and money, can not jump, defend, all he as is a long throw which 90% of the time finds a player of the other side. Morgan, Huth, Fuchs 5. All over the place, passing way off at times they don't seem to know who is picking up who, and why do Morgan and Huth have to go up for every corner, they hardly ever score and risk getting caught on the break. Mahrez 8. Still trying to hard to be the player of last season, needs the be more of a team player and not try to win the game on his own. King 4. Like him but think we need to move him on, not a Prem player. Amarey 4. Yet another player that seems totally lost at this level, for me a big waste of money. Albrighton 5. When he is on his game he is good but not always the case this season, needs a wakeup call. Slimani 6. Again like Albrighton on off player, needs to form a killing pack with Mahrez and Vards but they all seem to want to do there own thing and try and score, dose it matter who scores as long as we score. Vardy 8. The goals will come give him time, think he needs to focus on his game and not his book, film or the private life of his wife. Okazaki 6. Only player running his guts out for the team, can not see why fans don't like him. Ranieri 6. Still the man for me to turn it around, last year could not do wrong this year some fans want rid, just shows you what can happen in a couple oh months. Still not found the right team yet, and time is running out. Still can not see us going down, roll on the new year, have faith things can only get better. Onwards and Upwards
Guest MattP Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Zieler 6 - Thought he did ok, not blaming him for goal as was getting up from a great save. Hernandez 3 - Woeful, looks out his depth Morgan 6 Huth 6 Fuchs 3 - Probably his worst game for us Mahrez 6 - Lazy at times but some incredible touches. King 3 - Harsh to be dropped after Saturday Amartey 4 - Bad. Albrighton 5 - Bizarre to hook him when it became clear we were going to toss crosses into the box Slimani 4 - Starting to either look terrific or terrible. Vardy 4 - Performance summed up on my stream at HT when Afobe had covered more yards than much, so unlike Vardy. Okazaki 6 - We looked far better with him on Musa - 4 The new Schulpp Ulloa 5 - Should have scored Ranieri 4- Strange to persist with this away from home.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Zieler - 5 Hernandez - 3 - Not a right back Huth / Wes - 4 - Bullied by Afobe, both monumentally ineffective in attacking a ball in the air Fuchs - 2 - Garbage Mahrez - 5 - Some nice touches on a night the game passed him by thanks to our ball treatment King - 2 - Looked like he was running in sodden clothes with lead boots. Offered nothing. Amartey - 4 - Better than King, still not good enough as part of a 2 away from home. Albrighton - 3.5 - Seemed to take an age to get the ball under control for most of the game Predictable. Slimani - 2 - Atrocious last night. Vardy - 5 - Looks more like his old self and got on the end of some passes he'd no right to. Needs better service. Okazaki - 5 - Did his best and we looked infinitely less fragmented after his arrival. Ulloa - 3 - Should've scored. Ranieri - 2 - Set up in a manner we all knew would see us return with nothing. Last season his changes won games, Villa at home / Norwich at home / Watford away - early changes of personnel and shape. Pandering to the players and continuing to play a system everybody seems to know is costing us points could ultimately see him gone when he should be walking on water.
jmono84 Posted 14 December 2016 Posted 14 December 2016 Don't get the harsh ratings for Hernandez, he was just as poor as the rest of the defence and he isn't playing his preferred position. It was mahrez's sloppy pass which gave the ball away when we were on top and the caught us on the counter... mahrez was quiet for me and has been for several weeks. whole team has been poor... again... I think it's tactics rather than players

drofmor55 Posted 15 December 2016 Posted 15 December 2016 Ref 2...thought Paul Tierney was a decent ref until he completely ignored the hand off to Albrightons face by the Bournemouth defender. He just froze ,perhaps thinking he would have to send someone off if he blew for a foul.
