I reckon this is the 1st time, I have ever disagreed with you, on football terms....

That title they can never take away, a bunch of mongrels with some skill, made a laughing stock

Of the rich, and so called european top talent..We have an excuse, those obligatory clubs have none !!!.

90+ clubs would have sold their footballing souls, to have even dared to dream, what we realised last

season.

Hey we were always shit, you cant take the piss out of shit...We know WHAT WE ARE...

I have enough 1 liners, for the rest of my life, to parry of the dozos, who would even try to belittle

Our history making season...

You have a great and proud scottish player has your user name.  Dont Cower and Ever fall without

Standing your ground when remembering the 2015/2016 Footballing ..no !!! ..sporting wonder that

Made our city, and the other also rans...proud, excited, and  for once rode that incredible joy with us..!!!

Those that Take the piss,..they would only dribble, ours would make an Elephant proud.:scarf:

Don't  worry about me I've seen enough lcfc to overcome all levels of emotion and abuse.

My comments were strickly aimed at the players and manager  and their careers they'll have to live with the aftermath relegation on their CVs

If you notice CR was already a laughing stock to many before he joined.

You're only as good as your last season fits the potential scenario and there can't  be anything worse than champions getting relegated.

Yes there is, bloody defintely there is...

Being promoted...not winning the title..!!!!

Then getting relegated...

Oh dont get me wrong, this season is hurting, and this season I desperately want us to secure safety, even if its 17th.

I cant see at the moment..anywhere near 10th to 14th

I was with the OP up until the Mourinho comment lol

We know a season is a long time in prem football. A couple of seasons ago it seemed every team had top players and any point would be invaluable. Move on two seasons and it seems the prem has three mini leagues. We have the top 6 who all have high class managers and great squads. Then there is Everton in a league all on their own as they are close to gatecrashing the top boys with a couple more signings and then there are the rest of us. Southampton have played some nice stuff but constantly lose there better players. West Ham are a mess but have a couple of decent players, WBA are more appealing on the eye than recent seasons but again look at there squad. The list goes on and on. We sit IMO in between Everton and Southampton on squad strength but obviously havent performed as expected. Then there are the ones currently at the bottom. There are some real dire squads down there and some are performing above there squad strength like Hull and Burnley. Sunderland look like they have given up, Swansea I expect to to sink despite that amazing win over Liverpool and Palace are all over the shop since Big Sam got there.

We will be more than OK come the season end and I think we will be much better for it next season once the pissed up honeymoon period of last year is fully out of our system.

That scenario sounds common place same as getting the FA Cup final and getting relegated.

The current Champions getting relegation must be as unique an event in football as you could find so much so that LCFC winning the league would never ever be mentioned without reference to the following relegation. This is not just any league win or any bog standard relegation that could happen so I don't see how from a players perspective anything could be more embarrassing.

Anyway let's hope it doesn't come to that and CR and the players can turn things around.

It happened to ManCity in 1938 and to Nuremberg in 1969.

Still fairly unique from an English perspective in the living memory of most fans and extremely unlikely to happen again in their life times and therefore will last a long time in the memories of most to be regularly brought up.

For a club like LCFC and the players involved winning the leagues should surely be the aim of all to be the lasting memory.

Anyway I've miked this one to death let's move on and hope it's all just empty speculation.

If we go down the player's  legacy as amazing champions will be blown away as they'll  be forever remembered as  a laughing stock team .

History will remember the relegation rather than the champions as it will be something they can take the piss out.

It's  about time CR AND the team got this into their heads

Actually that's what worries me more than the relegation itself. The thought of all media and other teams' fans having a laugh at Leicester City's expense, for years and years to come.

I don't care about the players that much, they'll take whatever comes as a collective, but I like Claudio as a person and I would hate it if he would become the one who "won the Premier League one season against all odds, then got relegated in the next". From FIFA best coach of the year to... you name it.

So excuse me if at any point I'll start sounding to you like l'm losing my shit! :frantics:

All those experts claiming that we won't get relegated. Well, why not?

Give a lucid argument about why it is we will be safe and fine and stay up, so we can all read it.

This 'we're too good to stay up' is bollox. It's too cheap and easy. If you think this, explain yourself and let's have an interesting read for a change.
