Finnegan Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 The agility of Davonta Freeman is ****ing insane.
spacemunky Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 You have to jump over the invisible wall to enter the touchdown land.
ajthefox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Gwaarrrn Falcons. Bodes well that their running game is working really well. Loved that when they were talking about Mack playing with a broken leg, Carlson said "he played in Cleveland for 9 years"
leicsmac Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 If the US took rugby half as serious as this they'd be challenging the ABs. Some insane big and fast athletes. Can you imagine someone like Freeman as a back?

Can you imagine someone like Freeman as a back? Completely different sports in terms of physicality and athleticism as well as tactics. You don't need the same level of sustained stamina in American football. If half of these lads tried to compete with your Beauden Barretts and Nehe Milner Skudders, they'd be dead inside five minutes. Americans aren't somehow a physically larger master race. You've seen the size of some polynesians, right? It's just they train for different things. I mean the money and resources at their disposal, the Americans are always going to be big in whatever sport is popular but to suggest they'd great at rugby because these guys are fast and strong is like saying Jamaicans would be great at rugby because of Usain Bolt.

Haha snap (in greater detail)
ajthefox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Another Falcons stop would be huge here with them getting the ball starting the second half too. Still early though it has to be said.

Fair points both, the fitness part in particular. I just had visions of Freeman running from deep and basically tinfoiling everyone in his way Lomu style given what he's done so far here.

I don't know)
ajthefox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 3rd down penalties on defense are such a bummer.

He's only about five eight, probably comparable size to Leigh Halfpenny. I'd like to see him do a Jonah Lomu to big Will Skelton (google him.) Actually, some of the more agile running backs and wide receivers are your most likely to adapt to rugby. Edelman or Earl Thomas, people like that, probably make OK rugby players. Brady would be dreadful.
Carl the Llama Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 That commentator chat about young tight ends was getting a bit steamy there. Need to take a shower to cool down.

That's the 3rd 3rd down in a row where they've been called back for holding. You can't give the Patriots that many chances.

Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Perfect half for the Falcons, great stuff. I'm actually disappointed we don't get the adverts over here, I was in Vegas for the game last year and some of the commercials are hilarious.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 ****ing brilliant. This is starting to resemble Seahawks Broncos.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Similar to Ross Barkley's pre celebration

ajthefox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Patriots have hardly moved the ball at all so far, and the only time they have it's been Edelman. You've got to expect them to come back out second half but the Falcons couldn't have hoped for a better half. Great play for the INT
