Drinkwater Morgan Vardy I can accept players struggling for form, but I can't accept players not giving a **** like these three look like they don't. Could have put Mahrez in too, but he's always had a lazy style of play that's fine when you're winning frustrating when you're losing. I agree that Drinky's form has dropped off a cliff. But don't you remember the first third of the season? He was our best player comfortably. I remember saying to my Dad, "imagine how much sh*t we'll be in if Drinkwater gets injured." Seems a very long time ago when I was blithely optimistic about a top half finish of some sort.
Leamington Fox Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 1. Vardy 2. Huth 3. Morgan ... 4. Mahrez 5. Drinkwater 6. Fuchs 7. Simpson

Back in november my mate said lcfc were one drinky injury away from a relegation scrap.... a suspension an injury and a drop off in form later here we are.
Chico1958 Posted 17 February 2017 Posted 17 February 2017 I want more, more and more. Three just ain't enough. Three should be who would you keep in the Team
Dan Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I genuinely feel far too generous leaving the majority of them out. It's impossible to pick three.

All remaining outfield players who were regular starters could have no complaints if they were in the bottom three. They've all just been so poor.
FoxonMaui Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Drinkwater, Drinkwater, Drinkwater. WTF happened!!!!
Foxxed Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Just because he's left for Palace don't feel you can't include him! Seriously, this thread is hilarious.

alanf0x Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 Mendy has got to be in with a shout. Hasn't played many games but was expecting a lot lot more from him
MC Prussian Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 From our title-winning team, there's way more than three to choose from (in alphabetical order): Drinkwater (a shadow of his former self, without protection in CDM he looks like a lost lamb) Fuchs (has deteriorated massively on the pitch in the space of only a few weeks - speed, defending and positioning all gone) Huth (when you're a slow, immobile centre-back but still try to maintain a high line and caught out of position, you know you should think about quitting) Mahrez (being isolated and doubled-up is one thing, but I've yet to see individual determination and willpower to overcome this - lazy, disinterested, sulky, holding back) Morgan (similar case to Huth - nowhere near as sharp as last season) Okazaki (I like Shinji, but unfortunately, as the months and years progress, it seems as if football is not his kind of sport) Vardy (I'll give you the lack of service up front (see Mahrez), but just like Riyad, he's holding back, doesn't track back as often as he did, looks like he's given up) and to an extent Albrighton. People slagging off Simpson don't see what he has to offer defensively and fail to acknowledge him getting into trouble is down to Mahrez simply not caring about tracking back (or doing any type of defensive work for that matter). Him and Schmeichel are the only ones coming out with any credit whatsoever this season. As part of the new arrivals, only Gray and Ndidi have really settled in. Kapustka has been limited to the odd appearance here and there, but looks quality on the ball. Amartey is still hit and miss, Slimani and Musa at current rate an incredible waste of money. I laid off criticizing Mendy earlier because of his injury and the time it took to get back to full speed, but he hasn't convincing me yet since then and seems to timid in terms of tackling and passing forward. He occasionally shows glimpses of what he's capable of, but too often holds back for whatever reason (injury fears?). That makes another £13m well-invested...
