3 players you are most disappointed in

simple thread which 3 player are you most disappointed in so far this season in order:

3. Huth: The German Wall has been sensational for us one of our greatest ever signings but this season he has been absolutely atrocious this season a deadly combination of slow, indecisive and woeful on the ball.

2. Simpson: Feel bad naming Simpson because of all the players who won the title last year he is the worst on paper and this season he is playing more at his level but jesus christ has he been bad. He is so bad at the minute he is struggling to do the very basics required of any footballer like get the ball under control and pass in a straight line. Even the defensive side of his game hasn't been up to scratch and the biggest frustration for me is that there is absolutely no attempt whatsoever to overlap Mahrez leaving Riyad isolated against 2 or 3 men.

1. Vardy: I know he has not been getting the service and thats partly the teams fault but its also his fault two he simply is not making the same dynamic runs he was last season. Last season even if he was being marked well by a deep defence he would still offer an unbelievable work rate but that has disappeared he regularly gets beat in a footrace by big centre half's. this year he looks a million miles away from the deadly international striker we had last season and every inch the Fleetwood Town striker we first signed.

I think Mahrez has to take some of the blame for Simpson looking poor at the back, for the same reason you say Mahrez is being isolated up top. Mahrez is refusing to get back and help out defensively, leaving simpson to deal with 2 or 3 men at the back. This makes Simpson look worse than he is as he is left with too much to deal with alone

Harsh on Simpson. He's limited, but he looks like he gives a ****. My three would be.

Drinkwater

Morgan

Vardy

I can accept players struggling for form, but I can't accept players not giving a **** like these three look like they don't. Could have put Mahrez in too, but he's always had a lazy style of play that's fine when you're winning frustrating when you're losing.

The centreback pairing as a unit

Drinkwater

Vardy.

Key elements of the team that have totally taken the successful spine away. Theyre all in the worst form probably of their careers

I know Simpson is limited, but he always puts a shift in and I don't think (other than Derby away) he's been hugely at fault for us conceding?

Personally, my 3 would be:

Drinkwater: Early season he was brilliant, but he just seems totally bereft of any confidence, or form. Always seems to just want to play the ball back to where it's come from, or back to Wes/Huth, for them to give it Kasper, for him to give it back to the opposition.

Fuchs: He's a good guy, great personality, but that obviously counts for nothing on the pitch. Last season he was solid, and has shown flashes this season of still being as good. But he's getting beaten so so so often. His long throws also aren't working, both in the final 3rd, and in our own half.

Vardy: Nobody expected him to continue being a 20+ goal man and I know some people will put it down to a lack of service. But he just seems totally disinterested. Doesn't chase down, not chasing lost causes - he did better yesterday. I just can't put my finger on what is wrong with him?

Only 3 :o

Vardy..... Money and fame have made him worse than when he first arrived at the KP.

Mahrez..... Luxury (occasionally) player who lacks fight in a relegation battle.

Drinkwater...... Completely gone as a player, lost soul and will be better off left out.

Morgan, Huth, Simpson & Fuchs..... All finished in the Premier League, a season too far and should have been upgraded in the summer.

Albrighton..... Not good this season as well, charges up and down the pitch with no help in defence and no end product.....

Up the City.....:scarf:

1. Vardy - lack of effort

2. Drinkwater - bad performances, no confidence on the ball and bad attitude

3. Morgan - lack of leadership and poor performances

Dishonourable mentions, huth(performances), Fuchs(social media and performance), mahrez(doesn't want to be here) and slimani(poor price tag - ability ratio)

Posted

Drinkwater - Not up for the fight.

Vardy - Looks lost and offers nothing.

Fuchs - Used to be the most consistent defender. Gone from the "joker" of the dressing room to an actual joke.

Can't believe I didn't even include the two oafs at CB.

Vardy. - we've seen nowhere near the determination and quality we know he possesses.

Mahrez - Exceptionally lazy. Despite being the most talented player we have, he is now easily my least favourite. He does not want to be here and yes, I can blame him for that, because with the lack of effort and quality he's showing I can't see why he thinks one of the big boys would want him. He needs to remember where he was when we picked him up, and start playing for the club, because he's been as bad as anyone this season (bar Schlupp).

Drinkwater - Started the season head and shoulders above everyone else but has gradually been dragged down by everyone else. Now looks completely shot. I'm a firm believer that based on last season he should have been England captain at the euros, but he's shown absolutely no leadership qualities now the shit has hit the fan. He's hiding and that is what I'm most disappointed about, because like Vardy so much of what we did was based around not only his quality, but also his determination and drive. He's really letting himself down.

Probably Drinkwater since his injury, hasn't looked the same player, especially recently.

Vardy because regardless of service, he isn't putting defenders under the same pressure as he used to. It's only subtle but you see so many situations where you feel last season's Vardy would have created something out of nothing.

The last is probably Fuchs as he seems to have dropped to the same level as the other 3 cloggers.

Vardy and Drinkwater baffled me yesterday. Utterly shocking attitudes on show.  Drinkwater didn't win a single 50/50 and his passing backwards was so frustrating.

Third would probably be Morgan. Looks an utter liability at the moment and too thick to understand why he's turned into a useless pile of shit.

What a predicament. So sad.

The three so called superstars are the biggest let downs for me

Vardy. We've seen very little of the harassing defenders, the diagonal runs, in fact running at all has been limited this season. He's been happy to stand on the shoulder of centre backs waiting for that wonder pass to come which often doesn't, leaving him redundant.

Mahrez. The skills and tricks are still there but the attitude and application are missing. Maybe he's been doubled up on for some games early on but anyone with an ounce of grit and determination would keep plugging away. Mahrez just vanishes instead.

Drinkwater. I think Danny has been trying to do everything in midfield, trying to be our playmaker while shielding The defence. In the end he has done neither role very well. His confidence was shot a long time ago.

Impossible to limit it to three at the moment. Both full backs need dropping out cbs are that bad I actually want Benny to start for us Riyad is totally inaffective as is vardy drinkwater looks terrible greys got no end product half the time.....it's even got the stage where Kasper is getting beaten at his near post now.

1. Vardy. I cannot believe that a player who worked so hard to get there has lost the fight. Forget who you're playing for man, this is about self respect. A lot of people wanted you to fail, because for some reason they hated your success and you went and handed it to them on a plate:

2. Drinkwater. I had such a high opinion of this guy but now I see why he will never make it at a big club. When the going gets tough, drinky goes home. He disappeared during our dismal run in the championship. He disappeared during our first season back and he has disappeared this year. Unless others are firing on all cylinders Drinkwater is a passenger. There was an expectation that he may be a captain. The man is as weak as shit and has not got the balls to lead a fight;

3. Morgan. Be a captain man. Your team is in a dark hole and your out there promoting ****ing tattoos? Get on the interviews. Start leading them from the back. Start organising your defence. Another who goes missing.

You mean the 47 stepovers before running straight into the first defender?

Posted

Drinkwater - WTF has happened to him, awful passing, looking really lightweight.

Mahrez - Just looking totally uninterested.

Morgan - Back to the form of two years ago.

With the possible exception of Kasper, who should have saved the second IMO, they have all been pretty dreadful. I'm only leaving Vardy out of the three as the service he has been getting has been  non existent.

Posted

I'd find it easier to pick three who feature even semi regularly that I am not utterly fed up with - there's only five after all: schmeichel, amartey, chilwell, grey, Ndidi.

Posted

Drinkwater - has either had a frontal lobotomy or doesn’t give 2 fuchs. I suspect the former.

Huth - has always been a donkey but that hard working donkey we saw last year now needs to head to the nearest glue factory.

And of course Morgan - Captn courageous our ever present gallant man-at-arms. His huge heart is in the right spot but sadly he’s totally unable to keep pace in this league, give the fella a coaching role because he’s a gentleman with decent morales and most certainly was a very good servant to this club.

And sadly Vardy, oh hang on that’s 4 , oh well more the merrier - Vards is lost in his own fictional world where nothing bad happens... we’ll never get the original Vardy back.. he's just a comic book character... like TinTin!

Posted

Mahrez - Some people keep saying he's World Class. Yet to see it. Looks uninterested and isn't strong enough for a side that wants to stay up. I liked his 400 stepovers yesterday in the middle of midfield, stupid place to do it, only to lose the ball.

Vardy - It's not the drop in goals that annoys me it's the change in style of play. To think certain people said he was better than Kane lol

Fuchs - Just doesn't look fit now. I don't have confidence in him anymore.

If we were to takeout the three worst performers this season I think we would be ok, it seems we have players all over the pitch that have forgotten how to do the basics right.

1 huth I see why he was moved on from stoke gives away costly fouls and can't pass his pace has gone.

2 drinkwater I am lost for words his game has gone so far backwards. Like hutch gives away to many free kicks and can't create a chance with all his back passes.

3 fame and fortune has got to his head he needs someone to bring him back down to earth. He hasn't got the energy of last season very poor this year.

swap huth for Benny.

swap dd and king or mendy

swap vardy and slim
