Wymsey Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Morgan (but think most of it is down to not having a proper rest he needs), Drinkwater (recently become sloppy and moaning to others when certain things were his fault) and Mahrez (becoming like the tall player at Stoke, Arnathovic (sp?) at times) - lazy, doesn't believe in himself and occasionally selfish in his decision-making.
Chester Dontlie Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Mahrez, Vardy and Drinkwater. Last season these players (together with K***e obviously) were carrying the team. They were the match winners. Now I just don't know if they are still with us. Physically they are, but they look so absent minded, devoid of spirit. I can barely recognise Drinkwater these days. At the beginning of this season he was still one of our better players. Last couple months whenever I watch him I can't believe my own eyes. The metamorphosis is mind-bending. I feel like I'm watching reruns of Invasion of the Body Snatchers every week instead of Leicester games.
daddylonglegs Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 2 people haven't selected Vardy. 2! Glad I'm not the only one completely fed up with him.
LFEFox23 Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Vardy, Drinky, Albrighton. JV - Seems to have lost his edge, fight, spirit. Have England tried to change his mind set or something!? DD - Lost, Not having Kante has obviously knocked his confidence or something... Or maybe he struggles with the lack of pace needed to be box to box? MA - Never been the most gifted with the ball at his feet, but he could always whip a good ball in! Maybe burn out? or are we seeing the Marc Albrighton that Villa released?
FLAN Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Morgan for a visible lack of leadership on and off the pitch (by off pitch I refer to anything we see or read) then it's the 2 Kantes for leaving!!
BenTheFox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Morgan: treats the ball like a grenade, clumsy, visible lack of leadership. Vardy: shadow of the player that he was. Zieler: weird one because he's not a senior player here but I honestly thought he'd be much better than he is. Kasper gets injured we may as well play without a goalkeeper.

SecretPro Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Morgan most definitely: A. Where is he during the 90 minutes B. Where is his vocalisation and organisation C. C*nt can't even be bothered to give post match interviews. D. Taking into account the above, why the **** is this clown wearing the captains armband? Other two would be: Vardy Drinkwater
Ric Flair Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Drinkwater is in horrid form. His confidence is shot to pieces and this isn't the first time we've seen him vanish when the going gets tough. Huth and Morgan are heinous this season too but both are mid thirties and with Morgan especially I've always queried how good he actually is. Huth has been a seasoned pro in the PL and with 3 titles to his name he's proven and therefore although at 33 he's perhaps in decline, the manner of his mistakes this season is galling. Vardy and Mahrez can't be separated in terms of disappointment. On one hand our team is nowhere near playing to their strengths but at the same time they don't appear to be going above what they can to try and spark something. Both look uninterested and dishevelled.

crazyleicester Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 1. Mahrez - Multiple award winner, game changer, goal scorer, game changer. This season, pile of uninterested turd. I love the dude for last seasons memories and will never forget what he achieved but he is playing like someone who wanted out and is just counting down the days to his summer transfer to a "Big 4" team. I reckon he will end up at Liverpool or Spurs unfortunately. 2. Vardy - Firstly, I wish I never read his autobiography. The reason is I got an insight to what a loon he is. Threatening to quit playing because he couldnt score when he first joined, his drinking habits, the way he generally doesnt look after himself etc. It makes me think that last season was always going to be that freak season that some strikers can have. Like Mahrez, he looks uninterested. However, regardless of all that, I would still back him all the way if he was running as much as last season. Unfortunately he isnt. Yesterday Gray was running a round like a mad man and still had the energy towards the end of the game but Vardy just was not interested. To cap it off, the couple of chances he had he fluffed big time with the latter miss bringing out that idiotic thing he has of punching himself in the face. 3. Drinkwater. I was thinking hard on this one. I know the defence have been asleep at time but they have also been under siege more than normal and without protection. The midfield has changed so often as well which cant help them in addition to the GK. Im not saying they have been great but I also dont think they have been as bad as people are making out. But for me, Drinky started the season really well but has tailed off massively. The big players like him are relied on to shine and perform consistently but I have seen him outplayed by inferior midfielders all season. He has also developed a strop on the pitch and looks to be another who feels sorry for himself. I thought he had fight and character but I am so surprised he is another one who has downed tools and almost given up.
marbles Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Vardy - disappears for long stretches of every game. Went from chasing everything last year, to chasing nothing Mahrez - also disappears for long stretches. Last year he was brilliant, taking on 2-3 defenders every chance he had. This year, looks like he doesnt want to play. Drinkwater - last year he looked like a quartback, controlling the ball and hitting Vardy on breakaways. This year, he doesnt even want the ball.
ozvaldo Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Vardy - he may 'work hard' but I'm not seeing anywhere near the amount of off the ball effort as I did last season. Drinky - he's just way off form. Can't make a 5 yard pass this season. Wes Morgan - he's not a leader.
shen Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Tough to pick three only. Probably Vardy, Mahrez and Musa. Mainly because the former two were probably the two outstanding talents in our squad (I never expected the world from the rest of the squad), and the latter because I had expected more of a £17m signing. Slimani and Mendy have a long way to go to remotely live up to their price tags, but I feel we'll never get a reasonable return on Musa. That said, I think he'd be a better option up front than Vardy at the moment.
maddog Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Mahrez, Vardy, Drinkwater. Big contracts, big money and they've all gone to shite. Vardy has an heir or arrogance about himself, you just know he's loving the 100 grand a week now and isn't bothered about scoring or trying hard, he'll have a relegation release clause anyway. Mahrez because I thought he was world class. Clearly he isn't because class is permanent and he hasn't even scored one in open play. Drinkwater because he's had a face like a slapped behind, and has gone from the puppet master of the midfield to the master of the misplaced pass. Lazy at chasing back, rubbish.
psychonaut Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Drinkwater - What a sad state of affairs. He's my favorite player too What the actual **** has happened to him?! I feel like he's battling his own inner demons and they're sucking the life out of him. Confidence completely shot, looks lost. Right now he'd struggle in a league 2 side and that's being kind. Reluctantly takes the ball from defense then passes it straight back, whatever happened to pass and move. I honestly don't think he has the bottle for a relegation fight so needs dropping asap. We desperately lack a commanding experienced midfielder to take responsibility in the middle of the field. I'm not sure King, Mendy or Amartey are the answer either. Flip a coin. Morgan - Not a captain, needs to give the armband to Kasper. Awareness and positioning in the box is comical, crap on the ball, cannot pass. A legend but time to sit this one out. Replace with Benny. In reality CR wont drop Morgan but may drop Huth. Fuchs - Started the season ok, but now turned to utter dogsh1t. Lost pace and is easily passed by opposing wingers. Looks knackered by 30 minutes. Time for Chilwell to step in for the remainder of the season. Vardy and Huth have been equally as sh1t.
Bayfox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Was last season a complete fluke? Vardy looks like the player who couldn't hit a barn door when he 1st joined Drinkwater looks like the player that cupped his ears when scoring in a defeat at Charlton. And Morgan just looks like Morgan again. Coupled with huth and fuchs seeming to age 7 years in one summer mahrez not looking like he gives a ****. Albrighton and Simpson already being limited. Oh shit I've basically listed nearly every player who gave us the greatest season ever. Shinji come back. Fall over. All is forgiven.
