I really hope Fuchs ends up with the top average on this poll after the recent 'Fuchs off' thread which I thought was OTT criticism of him.

 

I know his form has been poor at times this season, but he was back to his very best on Tuesday night. MOTM for me...

Not quite 10's allround. Vardy and Shinji should have buried their chances. 

 

I agree on Slimani: 4-5 tops. He gave away free kicks, didn't hold the ball up, missed a sitter and elbowed a Sevilla player in a way that he  could have got sent off for. Ulloa would have been better to kill the game, or Gray or King.

 

So Shakey doesn't get 10 from me, those subs could have been better. I am a tough bastard to please.

What does Riyad have to do!? He put in a perfect ball for Morgan's goal, tracked back, fired the shot that (thanks to a deflection) fell to Albrighton for the goal and showed pace, effort and skill until the final whistle when he put in a good ball for Slimani and a perfect ball that Vardy should have finished. He was brilliant.

If you bring Messi in his best form and give him Mahrez's name and appearance, I bet you that poster (to whom you have replied) would  spew out the exactly same post.

Great performances all round. Fuchs was absolutely fantastic. He was my MOTM, followed closely by Albrighton who surprised me the most. I'm so stoked for him, he seemed to be hurt by the media's snake-calling lately, and what better way to react than this! I hope that wasn't his last word as far as the important goals go and there's even more to come from him. Truly a man reborn. On the other hand who isn't, every first team Fox is phoenix-like these days

Last but not least it's great to have a clean sheet again. Back four were fabulous, and Kasper was godly.

Please explain. What you would expect form him to give him, let's say an 8.

 

Tracking back to the own penalty area, stealing the ball, dribbling 7 players, making at least two one-two with himself, passing the GK to finally scoring with his shoulder bone doesn't count as valid expectation.

How is Slimani's chance considered a sitter? He had the goalkeeper in front and another defender behind the goalie. For me a sitter is open goal, like a tap-in. And how can you resume his performance to those points? Didn't he also linked up well with Mahrez and Vardy? Some people must watch the game in another channel I mean, nothing you said made sense.

7 is still good, the scores are relevant to the persons ability level, an there was like 7 of those players who i thought were 10/10, I haven't said Mahrez played badly just that on an individual basis compared to what he is capable of, i didn't feel it was a 10/10, 10/10 for effort certainly.

That's not how this works at all, if I get on the pitch and manage to run around a bit and complete four passes should I get a 10?

I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one, i seen the match in the KP, seen the likes of Schmeichel, Fuchs, Morgan, Huth, Vardy an Albrighton step up to a level above even what I seen last year, whereas with Mahrez, he just has set the bar so high an has won matches almost single handedly Watford away this time last year an Swansea away last year spring to mind, so to put Mahrez's performance in the same bracket as the players listed, I just can't personally 10/10 for effort, maybe I'm being a bit harsh maybe i should of said 8.
