In Nuneaton there is a burger van which sells a breakfast double decker sandwich. It's a slice of bread with sausage and egg - fried bread - bacon and tomato and another slice of bread. It's really should be called a cardiac on a plate but it's a proper treat.

Used to be Dairy on the corner of Groby / Blackbird, purely for cobs that is. Full English was a bit shit but the cobs to die for. 

 

Use the Bradgate Street cafe now, they use Brucciani for their bread now, pretty tidy.

Yeah I think he means Coombs.I used to work there on a Saturday when I was a teenager, I saw one of my mates piss in a bucket of glace cherries and a tub of walnuts once.

Great to see we still have cobs, and no PC conversion to Rolls.

Had some great  discussions where midlanders and Northern lads n lasses

have tried to educate southern souls on the difference between  various rolls and cobs, and cob loafs.

 

Even Champsgne D.Gower has been civilised on that account...and knows the difference..
