Somehow get the hunch that Slim will be the worst rated player.

Fuchs: 6.5

Dont understand criticism of mahrez at all, we all know he drifts but yesterday he covered and defended well, created chances. His pass to slimani was great football, shame slim is shite. Gray on the other hand was fookin diabolical, no idea where he thought he was playing, dont think he did either

The high ratings for Morgan?? He was easily beaten for their first goal.

He really wasn't it was an inch perfect cross - no defender could've got to it.

He was outstanding, especially first half, making block after block.

He was easily our MOTM. Think you've got to harbour something against him to not rate that performance highly.

Kasper 5 No idea how he doesn't save the Kante pea roller

Simpson 6 Did ok

Morgan 7 MOTM First half heroic, some great blocks. Couple of dodgy moments in the second half

Maguire 6 We will get caught out one game with these runs he makes. Teams will know he does it and target it. Did pretty well though

Fuchs 7 Made a lot of interceptions and tried to make things happen offensively

Albrighton 5 Nothing of note at all

Ndidi 6 Imposed himself better than he has so far this season but still too careless in possession

James 6 Probably his best game this season . Had quite a bit of the ball second half and looking fitter and stronger

Mahrez 5 Good first half and always a threat but poor in the second half. Needs to look after the ball better.

Slimani 4 He just doesn't seem to know what's around him. Game was too quick for him. Bit unlucky with his chance. Can't play with Vardy really

Vardy 6 Fairly quiet but got us the goal

Subs

King 6 Thought we looked a better side with three midfielders on

Gray 6 played a part in the goal but as with Mahrez, didn't look after the ball well enough

Iheanacho 4 Not on long but when he was he offered nothing. Didn't seem to know where to run and make himself available OR lazy. Not sure which of the two

Morgan is excellent at blocking shots but doesnt seem able to get off the ground when trying to head the ball. When he does try to jump he just jackknifes his feet leave the ground but he doesnt get any higher...think this is one of the reasons we struggle at defensive corners (and Schmeichel's unwillingness to come for crosses)

And what about the 4 or 5 blocked shots and superb defending which probably saved several goals? The cross for the goal was perfect.

Yes just seen the goal back..... perfect cross. Live at the game, as I sit behind the goal, looked like he just eased Morgan out the way.

Don't agree. Morgans positioning was crap for the first goal and barely left the ground to hinder Morata. If Morata was Maguires man, I think the outcome would've been different.  Apart from that he had an ok first half, second half he was back to last seasons mediocrity or shite. He was probably the slowest player on the park. There's no way we can rely on Wes this season. I get the love because he was our captain in the Premiership winning season, but we need to get real and move on. He's now a championship player at best imo. How anyone can say he was our motm yesterday must have been watching a different game to me.

Yes I must've. He made about 4 goal saving blocks and tackles in the first half alone.

There's little he could've done with the goal, sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say the cross was placed in the few inches the defender couldn't have got to as you can't cover everywhere.

The tone of your post makes it pretty obvious you've just got it in for him so much you can't even see what he did well as you completely ignore the several times he saved us and just nitpick every slight flaw.

If you care to look back over the posts, I have been one of Wes'  biggest fans, so don't come on here saying that I've got it in for him. I've also watched the game again and still haven't seen the "4 goal saving blocks". I for one would love him to be here forever and still perform as he did in his prime, he's a LCFC legend. The truth is, he's not a premiership defender anymore so lets erect a statue at the KP and move on. Wes will let us down big time this season imo. Don't waste your time looking at yesterdays match, watch a few of last seasons games, he was shite in most of them.

How many times did he hold off Morata besides the first goal? Gave Motata no room to breathe.

Sure, he could've done better blocking the first goal but he still played well overall. We don't judge a player over one mistake

I'm not judging him on one game or one mistake, I'm judging him over last season and the start he's made this season, He's nowhere near the player was in the title winning season, and he he's not gonna get any better. He's past his sell by date. He'e not a Premiership CB as I said before.

But you clearly *have* got it him got him. The way you keep saying he's been shit over the past year or so which is entirely irrelevant to yesterday's game which is what you are criticising and discussing. Why are you bringing it up over and over if you're not using it as a form of confirmation bias of yesterday's performance of your overall view of him as a player atm? It's all entirely irrelevant to his performance yesterday.

If you've watched the whole game back and still missed the crucial tackles and goal saving blocks then I'm not sure what to say because he was excellent in the first half especially.

Morata was 100% offside.. all tv coverage channels showed that he was clearly offside.

how the f**k he is not a premier league CB quality when he was awarded the best central defender in the whole league... and that was not his only award.. look at this (4 times in PFA team of the year):
