Bit harsh Okazaki should be a decent squad player but you are right in that it's crazy how overly reliant we are on a guy who doesn't create chances, doesn't score, doesn't assist. I tend to judge them on whether they had a massive, massive impact on our title winning season and whether, on the whole, the team plays better or worse without them. Haha it was (using the past tense in the hope that those days are now gone) mental how much better we looked with Shinji when playing our brand of "football" over the past 18-20 months. I just can't believe it took getting rid of 2 managers before someone had the nouse to maybe mix it up and not rely on someone having to try and force mistakes rather than trying to actually create stuff ourselves.
