Heard Lee Dixon and others talking about this last night on Five Live. For those of us old enough to remember, this was as dramatic a conclusion to a season as you could get, albeit born out of the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster.

Looks like an interesting watch.

I also heard Lee Dixon talking about it on TalkSport this morning.

What I remember most was how gracious the Liverpool fans were afterwards. I was amazed how they applauded the Arsenal team and supporters despite being seconds away from being champions themselves.

It was an incredible finish to the game and season and even eclipses the Aguero/Man City 14/15 drama for me.

Looking forward to seeing the documentary. That Arsenal team had some right characters in it :D

Yes. I think they put Ian Wright in it (even though he didn't sign for Arsenal until 1992 ish), because he was a close friend of the late great David Rocastle who was part of the Arsenal side that night.

Dixon actually gave a very detailed account of what it was like in the build up and on the pitch - the sort of detail we rarely hear from the soundbite football interviews we get nowadays.

Always easier to talk about something like that years later. Can't really make a documentary like that a year or 2 after when they are still playing.

Weird, obviously no love for either team, but I know exactly where I was when that goal went in. Pickwick wine bar in Boston (Lincs!) Some things just stay in the memory. Quite a few scouse fans in that neck of the woods drowning their sorrows.

I'll definitely be watching this when it comes out - looks great.

A wonder how many years we'll wait for the Leicester Premier League win documentary featuring an ageing Wes Morgan and grey haired Jamie Vardy? Hopefully not too long. Long enough for it to have faded from everyone's memory but hopefully the godfather Claudio will still be around to contribute!

With age, it will be a better film/documentary as the players will be more open with the stories of the season. You'd be hoping around 15 to 20 years.

Isn't Nick Hornby's fever pitch based about this season.

And wasnt the game a friday night?

The film focuses on this season. The book focuses on his life with football and it ends with this game as pretty much it's the first thing Arsenal won in years. It was a Friday night.

I was in my nappies when this happened but when I was 7 or 8. We got hold of a season review of this season at a car boot on VHS. As Man United were dominating at the time, I found it hilarious they were hopelessly mid-table.

Finally got round to watching this over Christmas. Very enjoyable. Nicely edited together with footage and music of the era, and the views of the likes of Tony Adams, John Lukic, Lee Dixon and of course Michael Thomas.

Good stuff!

Mr Hornby is one of many famous Gooners to tell that story. Arsenal through & through.

Didnt go to the game though.

First of the "new breed" of football supporters.
