As with the title season and towards the end of the great escape they're playing with great confidence as this decent run of results continues. When they're confident they pass forwards with purpose, everyone wants the ball, one touch stuff and passes in tight spaces are attempted that otherwise wouldn't be. I'm sure some of this has come as a directive from Puel but the confidence is a major factor. And just think, we've got Silva to add to the mix soon and from what I've seen he's no hoofer either! "Bra-ziiil, it's just like watching Brazil, just like watching Brazil.."

We doing OK. Our attacking play is sublime at times and our defensive play occasionally woeful. Simpson was down yesterday, Maguire was holding his head and they were playing on setting up their second. We seem to switch off at times.

I never feel too comfortable watching us but we’re  in transition and it doesn’t just happen overnight.

Both goals we conceded yesterday were as a result of panicking at the back ?

I thought that first goal was a result of them just being caught off guard by the way Newcastle came at them early.  They came out on fire with the crowd behind them and it took a few minutes to grow into the game.  Unfortunately they gave one up before that could happen.  2nd..was a real bad one to give up  because they had all the momentum and let Newcastle back into the match with the one half chance they were able to generate in the entire 2nd half up to that point.

Get your point , but the first goal was a result of being caught cold and panicking to the point of not getting into their respective positions to do anything about it.

Great stuff. Just love Iborra, plays the simple pass, ping forward, every time. And the rest just look for him now. Plus three behind Vardy constantly switching positions-early days but very encouraging.  New tactics are easy to see but wonder if change to coaching is also beginning to show. Anybody ITK on changes behind the scenes?

I know he's wonderful, but the man tracking back (slowly) on the first goal was Iborra. The ball through was perfectly timed, credit where it's due.

Agree...not the first time Iborra has been guilty of not tracking runners..believe it cost us a goal against Man City.

Can afford one player like this but not two, Mahrez does run back a bit but it looks like a token gesture.

We are playing some nice football under Puel, but we still need to keep the over the top to Vardy threat, just to stretch defences..

Believe CR tried to change things in this direction but dont think some of the players were ready to accept it
