mozartfox Posted 29 January 2018 Posted 29 January 2018 Hopefully he gets his ‘dream’ move and we sign him up. He says he does not consider going to the Bundesliga as a mistake but he had 2/3 bad games and that things were not good for him.
WigstonWanderer Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 Surely we’ve got to sign him. Done well in his appearances and actually wants to join us instead of the usual “sign me a blank cheque and I’ll see if I get any better offers” attitude.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 I'd be gobsmacked if we don't sign him. Price already agreed - normally. Plus he done all that was asked of him i.e. play well. Simple.

Will Aleksandar Dragović return to Bayer 04 Leverkusen? The Austrian loaned to Leicester City would like to stay in the Premier League. "I'm under contract in Leverkusen until 2021," Dragović said in a courier interview, but added: "My goal is to stay in England." In the Premier League, the 26-year-old sees himself in good hands. Leicester City had him "pulled out of the dirt in the summer," said Dragović on. Now he hopes that the table sitter pulls the purchase option this summer: "It would be a dream to stay here." - Display - At Bayer, however, the center-back had not found his luck after the change in the summer of 2016. "Several small pieces of the puzzle" had been crucial for both his personal crisis and that of Bayer in general. "Sure, there were two or three worse games," Dragović said, quite self-critical. "But it was not as it was often portrayed." Nevertheless, he does not see the step into the Bundesliga as a mistake. "In retrospect, you're always smarter. That we did not go to plan, we know, "he explained. Edited 30 January 2018 by Wolfox
foxes21 Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 If we sign Dragovic do we still need to sign another CB in the summer? Morgan/Huth will be back up for the Europa and we have Sam Hughes/possibly Elliot Moore coming through. I guess a big concern is that Morgan/Huth are becoming more injury prone and Huth’s out of contract in the summer.
Liam0308 Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 Id say we do. As you say morgan and huth arent getting any younger and have become injury prone. It wouldnt surprise me if huth's contract isnt renewed. But maguire, dragovic and one other would be sensible. Then have morgan and a young lad competing as 4th choice
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 (edited) He says he likes it in Leicester, and that the style of play in the Premier League suits him - he‘d like to stay. The transfer was a dream come true and it took him a while to find the right balance between building up muscle mass and maintaining agility. He didn‘t like playing under Schmidt at Leverkusen, because the defenders were forced to play a high line, and he hated sprinting back and forth so often.
