A homebrewed lager made by one of the UFS lads for the annual charity tournament today. Genuinely very good.

Got treated to a few from the Everard's shop earlier too, so just enjoying a tin of their Helles. Doesn't really taste like a Bavarian beer, but it should be more ubiquitous in their pubs. Plenty of flavour.

Having a bit of a piss about round London after a few weeks off, trying to tick off a couple of new ones I've not done before.

Done the Royal Oak over the road from Marylebone ( @grobyfox1990 I'm sure you'll have done this one before, ex Barworks). It was fine, bit gastro-y but decent Harvey's Best.

Now in the Barley Mow in Marylebone (a first visit) and mes qué un gaff. Not the most inspiring cask range but a real pub.

Revisiting the Golden Eagle for a similar #vibe after this and the Jackelope which is class — then I'll probably piss off to the Sutton Arms and Wenlock because I never shut the **** up about them

Sounds great, I think I have been to the Royal Oak in Marylebone, down a side street? I defo did not have a Harvey's though, love their cask. Enjoy your day

Yeah man that's the one, dead quiet road. Think the group that took on all the Barworks jobs are slowly learning their lesson from changing every successful pub they acquired and seem to be reintroducing decent beers, Three Johns was garbage post change but has improved a bit now.

Sutton Arms and some Mancunian brunette in a cap and oversized shirt has come in and ordered a Guinness. Do you want to **** OFF, had enough of these Miquel AF women wandering around down here, show me a culotte and trainer and tell me I won't be on bended knee a beg

Just been in York for a few days with work. Got to be one of the best pub per capita places in the country. An incredible volume of good establishments with proper beer selection. Most pubs have a minimum of 5 cask options which are usually local/independent offerings rather than the usual boring stuff (Abbot Ale, London Pride etc).

Brew York has got to be one of the best taprooms I’ve visited too- food was amazing.

Even on Tuesday the pubs and city were lively.

Obscenely good pint in Cask and Tap Blackpool, Cactus Cat by Tartarus brewery. Also a Vibrant Forest porter.  Great little venue as well with superb selection of cask and keg.   Compress_20240708_135213_3071.thumb.jpg.7cc9fd42ff141b86d0e014ace36381f8.jpg

Decent pint in Queens road tap pre Kasabian. Horrible IPA in sixes cricket, £6.25 and really slow service

Used to live on Clarendon Park Road but haven't been back for years, is that little bar still around, babelas or something?

In Madisons in Toremilinos, drinking Punk IPA, happy days

Blackpool is better, purely on the basis of Tuk Tuk, a Punjabi street food stall and Shenanigans Irish pub, karaoke bar and Blackpool's Premier lapdancing venue all under one horribly rough roof.

Off to the cruz campo factory in malaga later today, looking forward to trying some different beers.  Then going to the beer factory and then to the marina for some posh food

Liverpool brewing company tap

Shit pub on Albert Dock provided the worst pint of white rat I've ever tasted

The font? An OK pint of big wave

Probably a better pint in a plastic cup in the Students guild for the gig.

Granted not the best pub selections
