View from the corners - G1

Anybody sit in G1 ?

 

I've had to move out of the family end this year as the kids are too old - the only place we could get 6 seats together was Block G1, seat numbers around 70

 

Is that on the corner bit or does it look straight down the goal line ?

For what it's worth, I sit in G1 and I have been since league 1. Good view. But to be fair, there isn't many bad places to sit.

It's who you sit next to or near that matters.  I always end up sitting near nibs heads or guys that obviously do not want to the expense of a few litres of water to shower with

This is the King Power stadium, there's not a bad seat in the house!

I sit in G1 about halfway up right next to the Kop, great view, no need to turn your head as on the angle... very happy there!

Just been to see some seats in G2 but decided to stay in G1. In G2 you'd spend most of the game with your head looking to the right whereas in the corner of G1 you're already looking diagonally across to the far corner post so seeing the whole expanse of the pitch with just a small movement left or right to cover the whole pitch.

Nothing wrong with G2, but as has been said, not a bad view anywhere really.  I like it there for all the people we have met through the years (incl from Filbo) but also you get a clear view of goalmouth incidents - offsides, did it cross the line etc.

I'm in G1 as well, moved round from SK2 last season as I wanted to be a bit more side on but keeping a bit of the atmosphere.

 

I moved into the posh seats for the Sheff Utd cup game, nice view but a bit flat.

 

There's not bad view anywhere in the place though.
