Just put your hands in your pockets and buy a proper one ffs. Might be cheap, but everyone will know. It’s like sewing a stone island badge on your dads cardie.  Besides, you know all those boys and girls that work in the club b shop, well a cheapo shirt bought off the net ain’t going to pay their wages and when they get laid off, then you’ll all start moaning.

As someone that has worked for a high end fashion designer, I would argue the quality is unlikely to be the same.

Even taking the quality of the actual clothing item out of the equation, the premium price you are paying for that designer t-shirt over a primark t-shirt covers things such as better service, product knowledge, living wage etc etc.

Im not saying one is better than the other, both ends of the market serve their purpose, and it is up to each individual to decide what is right for them. But to say the only difference is a logo in many cases isn’t true.

Dont disagree with anything you say.

Like I said, you could argue that they are the same quality. Reality is that they arent. Same applies for the replica kits.

Perhaps didnt make my point clearer on my previous post. I was merely playing devils advocate for an arguement thats been going on for years when it comes to clothing and football shirts.

Slightly off topic but Martin kits although hit and miss have done customised kits lately...just saw hajduk split at airport in Dubrovnik and it had names of all past players.

It's a bonus, just buy the cheaper non badged version, you're supporting the team by wearing its colours.

Pity they don't sell just the Badge in the Shop:)

Just get a fake one from China which looks identical for a tenner instead.

These shirts are banged out in china by the same people who use the same materials and then sell them direct for $15, nothing about highend or quality. cheap and dirty crap to make $$$

My post was referring specifically to the comparison of a Primark t-shirt and a designer label t-shirt, and in this case I maintain that most of the time you will find a difference in quality.

With regards to replica footy shirts specifically, yes of course £55 for a replica shirt is a huge mark up on an item that probably costs a few quid max to manufacture. However, buying a suspiciously similar shirt direct from the factory in China, or even Adidas, is always going to be significantly cheaper than buying from the club. By the time that £55 shirt hits the club shop you are not simply paying for the raw materials (which we know is ultimately a cheap shirt), but you are paying for things such as import taxes, VAT, the wages of the sales associates in the club shop, and most significantly-the premium Adidas have paid for the rights to sell/distribute LCFC shirts.

You're complaining about a 55£ jersey? XD I was in the Nike store today, and the France shirt costs 140€ lol

That's nothing to complain about. It's the same price as a coffee in Paris.
