You can pinkle your name in Snow,or I love Linda...

you can feel cosy, watching it snow through the Windows while being snug as a bug in a rug...

drinking hot chocolate...infused with a good shot of brandy,or Irish coffee.....

I've lived in canada way too long to care any more.  If winter lasted 1 month maybe i would be okay with it.......But from december to end of march, forget it!

Cant stand the -20 to -35 celsius temperatures we have been getting the last few winters. Bone chilling cold is not fun. I would rather have sweaty sack and crack then that lol

When its cold enough for the wife pretty much. I like it cool to sleep so in no rush but i hate waking up to a cold house or in the night to piss and freeze qmy bollocks off.

I have no idea how you sleep in a house thats colder than 18 celsius. Sure toss on some warmer clothes will help but your nose gets cold! Heavens no! Lol

Its a bit different here in canada though  because we seem to get extreme heat and extreme cold. There can also be large differences between day time and night time temps which doesnt help. Most people dont use baseboard heaters here but rather central heating and cooling and it can get expensive if you like it toasty in winter or very cool in summer.

Just buy an electric blanket?

We have ours on low every night in the winter and it saves having to keep the central heating on all bloody night.

We start work early so set ours to come on about 6 am

barely have it on at all. up the coldness imo. doing earlies in the winter i’ll have it on when i wake up so when i get out the shower i don’t get frostbite but other than that i’d rather be cold than hot.

Wont work. I like to be cool when sleeping and wife likes to be snuggly warm . Will work for her but mot me. But again getting up to go loo the blanket wont help at all. Heated toilet seats and heated tiles are the answer.

Buy a ‘dual zone’ one?

First week of October..

The wife wants to put it on now. She will wear a thin tank top and complain about feeling cold.

I tell her to get in the bin.

It will probably be October, but with my Mrs being an accountant it could be December. She spends a fair amount of time following me around the house switching lights off that aren't essential to me seeing.

Turn all the lights on when she falls asleep
