6 on Sunday with Calvin-Lewin coming on.

Great stuff. Just a shame the Owner felt he was rubbish and binned him off..

Thats my point... we need to work in these emerging areas.  I do value what walsh dud fir us... but i wonder if its a different game now. .. get the saltzburg guy?

Red Bull has more money than we do!

If you google 'Edd Norval 14.11.2018 These Football Times - Red Bull' he wrote an interesting article about Red Bull and their scouting. Well worth a read. (Sorry I cannot seem to paste the link).

Now that Macia’s almost out the door, could Walshy be coming home?!

He's been almost out the door for so long I'm starting to think he is the door.

One other thought... weve seen some guys rock up and take to the pl... like ndiddi kante madison etc.  But others cant hack it... coz of strength speed and lack of time.  Eg kagawa at utd couldnt adjust but was ok when he returned to bundersleague.  How can we reduce this risk?

Every time I hear these rumours it always reminds me of the interview he did. ( reported he did ) asked why he didn't have a replacement for Kante.

With a smile he said he did Idrissa Gueye who he took to Everton.

We can all think of a multitude of reasons why he left , maybe just the chance of a different job and more financial security and after all people are allowed to change jobs, whatever went wrong at Everton should be of little interest to us. Think over the last few weeks we have learned and agreed we have had a pretty well run club for the last few years. If there is a job for him to do and it works for him and the club then why not. Surely stability and going with what you know will help the club going forward

Really? I think the club has been ran pretty badly since the title win if im honest. We wasted all the money we got for winning the league, literally haemorrhaging money on various things such as bad managerial appointments and sackings, big wages and bad signings that haven’t been given a proper chance - slimani, musa, Silva to name a few. To the point we are now having to take out 100m loans. Worrying times for the football club imo.

edit: please forgive me for being overly critical of the financial aspect. After all, it wasn’t so long ago that our beloved football club nearly ceased to exist due to financial mismanagement, debt etc.
