harpendenfox Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 A tough day for his family no doubt. Bless them all
MC Prussian Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Happy Birthday, sad you're no longer with us. Hopefully, you'll look down from the place above with a smile and pride. Strength and wisdom to your son, may the legacy continue.
Guest Markyblue Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 You gave us everything, we will never forget that.
Wymsey Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Perhaps one of the finest football chairman/owner around. Someone try and find an owner 'better' than Vichai/Aiyawatt, but very much doubt there is one close to someone who has held so much respect in terms of both helping the fans and the surrounding local community (hospitals, and charities he's donated a bit of his wealth to). He always seemed to respect everyone, no matter their beliefs and background - and that can be hard to come by to find many others in this day and age. Such as amazing person; shame there's not many like his persona around in this world, as it'd be in a much better place.. Even though his tragic and very unexpected death will always be a massive dent in the club's history, ironically just outside the stadium as we all know last October, his presence will very much always be remembered; and, without him, the club would probably be no-where at all than what the club had achieved under him and the plan for the future that he had imitislly proposed (the stadium expansion and the new training ground) - in terms of progression as a football club that many other football club supporter would dream of happening at theirs. Am sure he's looking down with delight and great hope, knowing the foundations he made are being progressed well currently and the club will have even have a greater future ahead. RIP. #IfCarlsbergdidfootballowners..
FoyleFox Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 "Today we should be celebrating your birthday with you, instead we are left behind with broken hearts, but the best of memories to remember you by. For the rest of our days you will be treasured, loved and missed more than words can say. We shed tears of both joy and sorrow when we think of you. Your presence will shine upon us forever and your legacy lives on in all of us, your family and your club. Thank you boss, for Wednesday nights under the lights. Champions of England, you made us sing that" From the card my mate left at his Berkshire home today ??
Ian Nacho Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Hero. Hope you had a good one Boss wherever you are.
